Another great day here on our little farm..
Living the dream..
A nice cuppa strong French press, a destroyer joint and some Cat to start the day..
Finish painting G room, wash, box and deliver 150 dozen eggs, floor guy coming to do floor..
getting ready for a visit from dear friends from Southland New Zealand..
Incredible folks will be here for one month.
will show them the best of the west here in beautiful Colorado..
these wonderful folks put us up in their hotel for 10 days in New Zealand , the price was...Bugger all mate...
They fed us breakfast, lunch, a afternoon nibble, and tea, evening dinner.
Would not allow us to pay for anything..
They know how to work and save..
Big John and I were drinking buddies at the Central Southland lodge.
We drank 40 pints each in one afternoon evening
He has not had a drop for 35 years myself 16 years..
A big fella totally southland New Zealand all the way.
his expressions and sayings are hilarious..
The most wonderful down to earth folks we have ever met..
Bloody bastrads is one of his faves..
I was driving cruising along at about 60 mph, asked John should I pass the guy..his response..GO GO GO pass the bloody bastard..
Will show the the river, the Utah and Colorado canyonlands, we will have dinner parties and introduce him to our amazing friends who are better than family..
The stories he has are amazing and funny
We have so many wonderful friends it is just amazing..
He told us of fencing jobs on farms 100 miles of fence they put in..Dynamiting a huge strump with our friend Lofty..
I had not seen these blokes for 33 years.,
When Lofty and I met last year at his place we hugged and cried tears upon meeting. His wife an my wife instantly became soul sisters thay had so much in common.
Lofty and his wife met at the rubbish tip, the city dump where she worked. They live in a small meager house old but tidy. one would think they are pretty poor but they have 3/4 of a million dollars saved, all from hard work..
Off to feed my bestie Comet..

But I space out bushes for good air flow and use plenty of light.

When I crowded the room recently my density and yield went down. I would have to prune to fit more plants.

Defoliation is a tool to be used like that. Not to randomly increase yield for no reason.

I only ever top clones and I bend seed plants when they exceed 16" tall in veg or I just do it in flower by week 2-3.

A tad different Outdoors than indoors I Reckon..
Our OD plants can reach 6 to 8 feet in height and must be caged.
So nice to have the density that the lollipop trim delivers.
got it down so there is little popcorn, lots of yield, fuck will we ever get done??

Was a fun time..
When we would go to see The band beyond description it seemed like everybody was your friend. Folks shared weed, mushrooms, acid, peyote, musculine, beer, food.
Things changed but the music never stopped..

me just jamming to some man-o-war.. all i can say it would be odd to only have one taste in music.. id get board if i could not listen to everything under the sun.. minus new pop country cant stand that shit..

same subject over and over.. boring.
its juts mass produce garbage like regular pop. hah

Just to clear up the whole rolling joints with tobacco thing in UK. I know this is strange and in some cases disgusting and sacrilege. But consider this: I use approx half of one cigarettes worth of tobacco 'king size' cigarettes that is. Compared with the thick tobacco leaf otherwise known as a 'blunt', I think you'll find that us UK cats have method in our madness. We're saving money and smoking better tasting joints than you U.S. blunt smokers ;) just sayin...

Edit: I know not all US citizens smoke with blunts but you see my point...
