Well lets see some proof that its bullshit, anybody have some numbers? Test results? You can search all over the internet about when to flower a seeded plant and it says everywhere, when they reach sexual maturity, which is generally 6-8 weeks veg, males reach sooner than females, the branches start to alternate at nodes when they begin to reach maturity. Wth would u wanna flower a plant early anyway and sacrifice yield? Why not let it veg and get a good root system, let it mature and then flower it. Makes much more sense if you ask me but to each their own.
Ya... i got numbers.... THOUSANDS of clones that test the same as mom.... if you had to wait 2 months then sogs would not be popular.

I would direct you to this video to answer your question. Boring for the most but watch the first and last minutes or so and it's insane!

Im sure i could find more if i had the time but if i only had 5 foot headroom i wouldnt grow a sativa and if i did id train the hell out of it, tie it down and veg for longer, give it a pk boost to try and avoid the stretch as much as possible. And im not talkkn about clones, the clone is however old the mother is when u take it, but i wouldnt take a clone from a plant less than 8 weeks old, but sure u can flower that cut soon as she has roots but i wouldnt flower a seed that was any less than 8 weeks old. Just my opinion from what ive read and what ive been told. And good genetics will produce good bud.. in a good environment. Im not sayin u wont get good bud if u veg a plant from seed 2-3 weeks or 12/12 the whole way, but what i am saying and strongly believe is that u will get better quality bud if you veg it longer like 6-8 weeks + and for sure a better yield obviously.

Why wudnt u take a clone from a younger plant? Whats ur reasoning?

How much are you guys yielding per plant?? I mean i vegged a strawberry blue plant (pics in my diary) for 2 months and got 5 1/2 oz off it, that purple berry (pics in my diary) 4 1/4 oz.

From seeing a good friend do many cloning experiments and he believes the clones root faster, are hardier plants and take off quicker versus a younger cut. And in his testing i believe him and what i seen. And i guess the whole sexual maturity thing too, just something myself and the small circle of friends have followed.

The only difference is a seed has a tap root and a clone has fibrous roots.... same cells
