I concur with you on this. :) I have and I live in very arid conditions have slow dried whole plants at 65% Rh for almost 21 days and then jarred them for cure. As long as R keeps the Rh factor above 60% and has small air movement all will be well. Just needs to be sure no air blowing directly on buds.
What I noticed is that I live in a bi-polar state. We can need heat and Ac all in 1 day. And that creates rh shifts.
So what i noticed, was that times and conditions change and certain months require different setups, and techniques.
My best yet, and I shit you not, was from drying in my 4x8 tent (hung single cola branches)with a 4" fan blowing up thru a milkcrate with a wet towel draped over it... Was around 60% and would drop to about 50% when towel would dry. I wet the towel 3 times a day. prob 2 weeks.. I let it dry till it was crispy, then jarred it for 24 hrs/ then laid it out on the kitchen table for 6 hrs/ put it back in jars for 2 weeks...
I agree on the 60%, and hanging whole would be his only option.

What would happen rmol if you just left them in the dark for 3 weeks just like they are??????
They would use up all water in soil and start to dry right on the bush eh????
@Wisher619 What will happen if rmol leaves his soil girl in the dark for 3 weeks?
She will be at the end of his growing cycle but he has to leave for 3 weeks.
We were gonna just have him hang whole for the 3 weeks but your past convos got me thinking??/

I am an engineer. And we over think shit all the time... I got a factory full of machine operators that will vouch for that :) lol

There is understanding, and there is over thinking outside your mental pay scale...
See when I got a problem like yours, I load a bowl, and watch the cubs game...
And remember to myself, damn that first piece of ass i got as a kid made my toes tingle, AND IT HAS NEVER HAPPENED AGAIN!
What a trick to pull on a man!
Hey hey cubbies.
Life long cubs fan here

It sounds good.
I may consider it.
Just another option to add to the bag of tricks.

As of now for the hang drying process. I'm leaning towards cutting the dehumidifier and leaving the a.c. on to keep the humidity up above %50 (not sure how high it will go).

If I can get the home humidity to stall around %60 it would be perfect.

Maybe leaving my bath tub half full of water for 3 weeks to keep humidity up lol. Im gonna pull out as many stops as possible to make things work.

To all who gave advice I greatly appreciate your input.

I still have 11 weeks for any new ideas that may arise. But for now flowering is on.

I gave the runt her first feeding of bloom nutes tonight. She is reaching for the sky.

I am going to give her 12/12 photoperiod until the stretch has ended. Then I will swap to 11/13 to finish her out followed by 10/13 The final 2 weeks.

if he is in soil I would pour boiling water on each pot and then let them sit in there for about 3-4 days in the 12/12 cycle and then turn the lights off and then leave them till he gets back

We are going thru a lil spell here.. injuries and all.. And schwarber doesnt fit for leadoff... he needs to bat 5th or 6th...

We Dont really have a typical leadoff hitter....i guess Heyward wud be my first choice.....i ve been busy w movin haven't seed last few games but one thing that stood out to me has been starting pitching giving up too many runs early and pitch count

@rmoltis you are correct ac units will dehumidify while operating but will not remove all humidity. Also constant cooler temps supplied by the ac compared to the warmer ambient temp will raise rh.

I see this everyday in operating rooms when doctors want to run super cold rooms. The rh will eventually spike even with subcooling coils. The only way to wring out the humidity is actually to bring the heat on. This is with multi million dollar hvac systems with building controls lol.

Your grows look awesome bro. And best of luck with everything your facing in life and growing. Positive thoughts sent your way.
