Mendel, never could get these Yankee carp to hit on corn. Back a hundred years ago when I used to fish, I used dough balls. Take a package of shredded wheat, dunk it in water, and start crunching it into a ball. Pinch off a dime sized chunk and roll it into a tight ball. Worked like a charm.

I was changing the oil on the wife's van, and noticed quite a few things were bad or going bad. Walmart changed the oil once, when I was hurt. They cross threaded the plug, and it ran out of oil before I caught it. It really hasn't run right since then, and was burning oil. The tires were so bald, you could see what brand of air I use. The front end was making a new racket, and it was way out of alignment. The abs had quit months ago, and it was beginning to slam into gear at times. Door latches & one window only worked when they wanted to.
I realized it would be cheaper to buy something else, than to fix all the crap that was wrong with it. With the boys all out of the house, we no longer needed seating for 8, any way.
So, I bought her a a small 4 door, with 70k miles. We really need it, but I hate spending that much money.

Good morning old farts of Curmudgeonland, how stoned are ya this morning ? A little, a lot, or ready for another bowl ? Don`t really matter, cause we gonna get higher. We gonna have us a session of "wake n bake". So, a cup of coffee or a cold drink and a bowl of medicinal herb and here we go, puffin' and passin' the day away.

Goldie, I put the Old Hen and Pullet in brand spanking new vehicles three years ago and told 'em they'd better make these last, 'cause it'd be the last ones I'd be around to pay off. My last buggy was an '04 that I ran until '14. Only had 67K on it when I chased her off. I bought a used cargo van with just under 22K on it three years ago. She just rolled 30K. Told everybody that cared to listen that this was my bucket truck. It'll be the last one I need.
I never planned on living forever, and the way my beat up old body feels, I don't want to. When the grim dude shows up, I'll shake his hand and ask him, "What the fuck took you so long?":)

so there is this guy in class. it came up in conversation that it was bad to be a police and go to prison, i said not as bad as being a chester molester. to which the dude replies his dad is locked up for molesting the guys sister. next day he is talking about how he had dated this chick for a while. then after they broke up guess how he see's at the next family reunion? yup you guessed it... is this cat for real?! he cant be making this shit up. but daauum.
In unofficial hushed conversations at the courthouse they are referred to as "chomo's"

Dabbie, man, a 50 lb bag of corn is $6 at tsc.

I am growing 4 60' rows each of a flint corn from north dakota, and a green mexican dent corn, for seed. I expect to harvest between 6-8 lb of seed from each set of 4 60' rows.

I think youd be better served (and get more yeild) growing some veggies since your space is small, and leave the chicken feed growing to the farmers.

Can I put a lack of social media accounts on my curmudgeon application and thesis?

Instagram is the most harmful social network for your mental health

Our addictive feeds of fitness models, exotic travel, and photo-perfect moments don’t often match with our comparatively humdrum and badly lit lives. The discontent caused by that disconnect is enough that a growing body of research suggests social media is contributing to mental-health problems such as anxiety, depression, sleep deprivation, and body-image issues in young people, who are the heaviest users of social media.

And Instagram, which now has 700 million users globally, appears to be the social network having the greatest negative effect, according to a new report by the UK’s Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH), an independent charity focused on health education.

The report combines previously published research on the health impacts of social media with its own UK-wide survey of nearly 1,500 people between the ages of 14-24. To discover how respondents felt different social networks—Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, and Twitter—affected their health, both positively and negatively, it asked them about their feelings of anxiety, connection to a community, sense of identity, sleep, body image, and more.

I'm growing the veggies i eat, Corn I Eat.. I also planted Pea's and Beans with the corn.

theres very little veggies i eat so might as well grow somthing easy like corn and let my brother and his gf have some, they can't eat it all either. So its bound to go to the chickens.

And yeah he gets grain from the local farm for like 5$ a 50lb sack.
