Ive never used it for ph up but ive heard of ppl usin it. Cant imagine why it wud kill microbes. Ive also heard that it will raise ph but doesn't keep the ph stable. I have however, used it to combat pm and it does work for that. It works the same way greencure does.

Been ising for 20 years as ph up....and lemon juice for ph down...no issues to speak of

Anytime I need the Ph up, Ive went overboard on tbe Ph down which doesnt happen much since I use a syringe to measure now.
I think Im on my third bottle of ph down with barely any gone out of the first ph up bottle.
