I'm using fabric pots I like em plus you can buy different sizes and just stick the whole pot inside another one when potting up! I'm using rhizopots. Had smart pots before 50l but weren't deep enough same depth as 11l

Looks like one on left is getting green up top mate

Well what you describe going yellow from bottom first is nitrogen. It's a mobile nutrient when your plant needs it up top it will take it from lower growth

They were looking real beat up yesterday...all 4 of them. Took some action and finally mixed in fishmeal on top of soil, watered it in a bit and let them air out a bit before I put them away in the shade, away from the breeze running through this rooftop.

Put them out in the open Sun around dawn and put them away again in the shade for a few hours from noon to 4:30...then let them out again until sunset.

I think I'm going to have to be more vigilent moving forward...but I think they're already reacting to the added attention...like, I can swear that their green is coming back...or maybe I'm just stoned!

Thank you @Funk junky and @Sun Valley for helping me out through everything so far.

I'm very happy to report that all 4 plants have bounced back and are over their growth stunt.

Apart from the flush, adding in fishmeal and keeping a tight watering schedule, I came across various threads about optimal lux ranges for bud plants. I downloaded a lux meter app on my phone and I took several readings throughout the day. I think this was one of the niggest issues i was having. I got readings over 120,000 lux on this rooftop on average. Thats wat tio high according to what I read. The shade I built got around 25,000 (too low).

I needed to raise light levels in the shade, so I tore one layer of the shades roof screen and I now get about 50,000 lux in the shade.

Ripley's OG buds must be coming along nicely. It's starting to smell so good!

Need some advice here..it's been nearly 3 weeks since I first added the fishmeal. The 1 auto is about 2 weeks away from harvest, so I don't think I'll need to add anymore fishmeal to that.

The 3 others are all photoperiod and are still in veg, so I was wondering if I should add any more fishmeal, or is one application enough? Remember, this is an outdoor soil grow in pots. Let me know what you think.

what are your indications that your auto is ready in two weeks?

you haven't fed for three weeks just water? I would give feed when pots are light. same amount as last time they are looking much better. wait till soil is compacted use a dinner fork to gently break crust without damaging roots, make sure water dousent just go down sides water at first in circle away from sides and away from stem so it soaks in

don't believe auto is two weeks away time on packs are guidelines that are normally less than you need depending on breeder. but never had a plant ready in less than these times but plenty go more weeks

That's right, fed them the fishmeal 3 weeks ago and no nutes added since.
