Doubt its going to be Trump. Simple reasoning is this. Those that cadone canna still hold and have the power. Good news is they are a dying breed, soon in a few years they will be out numbered.

A better question is if the feds do crush rec usauge how many will keep firing bulbs off? For a lot it doesn't matter because there not med or rec state.

Now the twist is this. As much as big corp are hated also know without them it will not go farther. Without corp interest and lobbyist things will progress slower. Hate Monsanto or Scotts all you want but because of them you can buy a tent and a flood and drain set up through home depot now.
I think this is a really interesting aspect to the growing debate of legalization and how it relates to large companies like big tobacco and more importantly money coming in for research and development of treatments for specific diseases. Big money comes from big companies.

They better get something done quick, I see hydro nutes at the box stores now, and home de pot is not only selling tents and flood and drain systems but they are also selling RDWC buckets. Once the depot gets their foot in the door, it's on. Whether it's 5% thc $50 ounces, or the next distillate-in-an-inhaler product.

For the record, I'm undecided for now.

I am in a hot state so its a differant view point. To see what is possible now those that can run full term, derp, whare houses it is amazing.

@G21 you hit the nail.

If it is fed legal then workers comp needs over hauled and there needs to be more precice testing to determine was it last nite or lunch that you last smoked..

Tax system needs over hauled.

Ag needs over hualed...BTW John deere puts a monthly publication out. Talk about conseravative america at iys finest. Jan 17 issue had a 4 page spread about hemp and the 5 approved seeds to allow fatmers a alternative crop if residing in 1 of the hemp states now.

Prison money is the loudest conservative voice now.

Say 8 more years it will be a much differant view point.

Yea must be the entire rest of the world, lol.
It will be hard for trump to NOT end up like nixon, All trump has to battle fake news is twitter, FB and the rest of social Media,, News media is having a hard time brainwashing the ignorant now that trump circumvent the news media brainwashing with twitter, trump took a play card out of Obama social media election tactics and upped his game with twitter otherwise he'd be impeached and we'd never know the truth..
If not for Trump, Jeff Session would have the DEA rounding us up already. The colo dispense aint got no Balls they all shut down after they get the letter from the DEA, Our home growers in this denver economy will boom again cuz everyone will go from $10'hr dispense jobs to having $100K home grow output again,, its a Win Win for everyone in Colo except dispense owners and HickNpoop tax plan, When Session gets his way - He stops the poison dispense bud and home grows go underground and make BIG profit again.

Dicknpooper is trash. and I would love to see the underground rise again, but it'd be kind of backwards of me after decades of pushing for normalization and legalization of cannabis to push for the opposite. I do however want to see my profits and hard work prosper as it once did before expansion of med and rec. cannabis. I do find it honestly hard to make any correlation between a Trump and any positive cannabis related outcomes but honestly I throw up in my mouth any time I hear his name or what he is doing, must have gotten the same feeling when you heard Obama talk.

Imo anyone that came out from underground is a spineless puppet, the day I let another man tell me weather I can grow a plant that God put on earth is the day I need someone else to wipe my own ass because I can no longer do it myself...

Spineless puppet? More like being a grower who changed with the times, and took advantage of protections that were finally afforded to us after 80 years of prohibition. From a Growers standpoint it's about R.O.I. And money it has to be or I couldn't afford to keep growing, but from a strictly smokers view the cannabis scene is about the best it's ever been. but again to go as far as to say anyone who came from out the underground is spineless and can't clean their own ass is just plain silly. Reminds me of people who always want to tell you how much better a song would be if it was off an old record.

I totally agree. The fact that there using dispensary tax money to combat home grows makes me sick!

It certainly isn't right how funds are spent. And who is honestly surprised that in this country their would be budgets built for the purpose of being against the very industry that supports it. But it's stills seems like an odd statement to degrade indivuals who made the conscious decision to move into a new and booming legal industry with protections after untold years throwing caution to the wind, especially considering how many people even just on this board went from underground risking it all, to successful and prosperous within a quasi legal climate. And regardless of the money siphoned from disp. to go after home grows, they were already going after home grows. In that sense what has changed?

I see very few people hear willing to make exceptions or find a median ground, and that sucks. Most hear want devide, they want 100% cooperation and success. Unfortunately evolution and revolution are not about always getting your way, you don't cut off your nose to spite your face. If the obvious advances made in recent years regarding cannabis and its melding into mainstream society and normality aren't clear then I'm not sure what would make someone happy other than All polititions in Washington sitting down for a smoke session on Fox News and announcing full legalization no restrictions.

I feel like if its legal, then there are no regulations on growing. Its not legal, its regulated.
I think that we should be able to sew it in the fields like George Washington said everyone should...

I don't disagree at all, but there is a process to repealing the decades of prohibition unfortunately. Would it be great for it to happen overnight obviously. Will that ever happen, no. Not without drastic unfathomable changes to our current political and social climate. Why does someone taking advantage of protections make them spineless though? And further more name any aspect of your experience living in society that doesn't have rules or regulations? including our cannabis black market.

And wether it be corn or cannabis I can garuntee you %100 that you will be regulated in some fashion. Corn can put you in jail just as fast and with possibly stiffer sentences if say you pollinate or cross pollinate a neighboring field, or perhaps you allow toxic run off into a municipal creek. Or incorrectly apply insecticide, or a field burn gets out of control and your fined, can't pay lose your house still can't pay lose your freedom.

It all depends who you talk to, and there ideals. Honestly without major corporation support it will never be federally legal. Yeah yeah that upsets alot of people because the hippy mindset. Ask me if I care? Answer is no not at all.

Growers cannot sit and discuss hot topics, the butt hurt commences because everyone wants it there way. In all honesty I would prefer the genie put back in the bottle and shut it down. That is not happening and more than likely because of the money being made us little people will loose our voice. We never had a voice realize and understand that.

There is nothing that can generate billions of dollars that is not regulated.

There are tons of people that use the term legal to hide and do as they wish. How many are on a limit yet they are growing pounds and pounds?

That is why the newer states that are medical are not allowing home grow rights. You give a inch and a mile will be taken. You can cry piss and whine all you want, there are no god given rights. Its very simple everything has a cost, like it or not.
