eye on new growth
and I would make a light solution like say 1.0ec and flush your plants
let them dry a bit
and then hit them with full bloom

dont fuck with that half/half shit

it will be HUGE!
Beautiful!!
Amazing!!!
ok I will not do the half/half you racist right winger! lol
As for drying out, that will only take 6 hrs lol..
they will start wilting in 12 lol

And i am at 1 ec...
I watered down before wake up yesterday morning...
And they are gettting ready to feed now..

btw.... traded in my old systems for a new system.. 4 months old,,,, $400
:) to say im pretty excited is an understatement...
I wanted an 8 but 6 bucket for less than half, I couldnt pass it up..
Esp because this was what I wanted from the beginning!
And I can prob buy 2 more buckets later and add to the system...

Jesus Im home!
Wisher we gonna do the damn thing :)
current culture nutrient package!

Right on brotha! Juiced for ya. I love come ups. Lol

What really made it a good deal for me, was he still had over half full jugs of the current culture nutrients that he threw in for free.. Since i will be running uc roots, that means no more tea...
Well I guess I could foliar with it, and get some of the goodies..

I just think that running a chiller on this system, i should just use the UC roots and not a live tea supplementation..

@Wisher619 u feeling better homie???
I done got us all fucked up on another mission lol
What can I say, lol, im that kind of guy..

If we end up in the pokey, i know how to build a stinger,
127 different ways to cook ramon noodles :)

So anyway, as you see, we gonna rock the UC...
So Im of course gonna read all up on the nutrients/additives/feed charts...
U know im pretty smart but I always like when your peeking over my shoulder !
So as always, i like getting input on direction...
Im thinking ditch the tea for the uc roots with the chiller?
And I got current culture nutrients...
We be going straight from clone,
poss in a 4x4 rw cube...
I see where most ppl in UC root in rw,
so i figure that is prob what I should do..

By the way, the 1 ec has the plants looking pretty good today!
Do you ever get tired of being right? :)

And I got to ask you this,,
because im me, the stubborn apprentice..
Do you think you could be wrong :(
on being able to feed seedlings 1.5 EC right off the bat?
Or do you think we are only having N tox because we are not getting
a through watering in the coco..
Maybe ending up with a couple dry spots?

They grew excellent till about week 3, then showed tox..
So that makes me think it got dryed out to cause the tox?
what is your thoughts?

If you end up in the pokey I'll send you my recipe for my famous duck sauce (it involves Koop aid packs and peanut butter. What can go wrong). Drizzle on the sweet and sour pork spread. Wow. Lol! And I'll throw a couple honey buns in the package. That's always a nice surprize

Bro I think I'm gonna save my other 5 Jack Herer seeds and run them full term outdoor next year. They love it out there. Look at these girls.
Ms. Coco is a monster. I think I'm on to something with this outdoor Coco. Hahah. Just gotta keep up the watering. She will be potted up this weekend. If I go too big tho I will be mixing nutes for her since I won't have enough runoff. But I'll figure it out. We're committed now. Hahah

And look at the shape and structure of the in ground one. What can I say I like them a little thicker! She gets tap water. A handful of the soil has like 5 worms. It's super rich soil. I'm gonna brew her a nice tea before flower. But man she's a BEAUTY.
I'm the second pic you can get perspective how tall they both are if you look behind Coco and see how far up the fence she goes

So do you just water with the run off or do you take it and re ph it, then feed it? do you ever look at the ec of the run off?
inquiring minds want to know!

I check it for piece of mind but it's always the same as going in. Never been more than a point off. Early last run I realized it was drying out too much and my runoff ph was high and ppm was higher. Once I started watering everyday it's been fine. That was early veg my first run. The beauty of the way we water is it's like a mini flush every time.

Now I mostly check for the ppm. If it's high I can tell they're getting fed too much and not taking it all up and I can lower it. I check ph just cuz I'm there but if we water twice a day and it's good going in it should be ok going out. Should be. Lol

That's for the coco one also. I wouldn't put it in the soil with hydro ph. Until I see a reason I'm not feeding the soil one. Just tap water. And tea in a week or 2

Well i have seen itr where the ppm was a lot higher but that was early in growth maybe because of the cation exchange that happens with the ca...
After the first couple weeks i didnt never check anymore...

Ya a lot of people (myself included) show cal def early with new coco because of that. This round I precharged with light cal/mag solution. Don't know if it helped.

the reason for the N tox IMO is that you ran Calmg to long
or because you are using the Grow and not the bloom

what
I have now concluded
from talking to many people on other sites as well as talking to some people in person

coupled with running the NPK ratio through a calculator and butting that against Canna specific nutrients

that running grow by itself is way to much N
running it with Calmg is overdose

what I have found is we need to start with bloom right off the bat along with Calmg for the first 3 weeks of growth...then we cut out the calmg
I also have found that if we run feed at max then plants are good
if we try to ramp it down then we arent giving enough of certain elements

I have been running Maxibloom at 3g per gal
and my plants looked fine
I just cut out the calmg and upped my feed to 7g per gal and my plants are a perfect green with that beautiful neon green veins

that tells me they are now getting correct element ratios

it is all about element ratios

with FNB I believe it is 8ml per gal
Maxi it is 7g
3 part it is 8/16 M/B

it gives you that 100-100-200-60-100 ratio that cannabis wants

I am now mastering Promix
which is super easy
7g per gal 5.9ph feed 2x per week
1x per week Floralicious Plus 1ml pergal ph 5.9
my plants are looking rediculous

so it is my belief that we need to meet that target ratio which will work with a light system between 400whps-1k hps

I add things like floralicious and Si
but really nothing else
I mean maybe a sweetner
but real basic and meet that target ratio which is usually around 1.8-2.0 ec
Always meet your target ratio with your base and then adjust additives to meet your ec value

@EventHorizan
remember your first run
I believe FNB @8ml per gal

could have been better but now that your room is dialed in enviroment wise
that same feed should net you amazing results

*this is for Coco and Promix*

Cool new system. What happened to the triple six? I guess you could always add on more buckets right. Congrats on the new status.
Well i still needed to get like 250 worth of stuff, and this was 400... and these are 8 gal modules instead of my 4 gal modules so kinda makes up for it.. I will prob add 2 more modules after i run it once with 6.... So now I got an extra water pump :) actually that is a good problem to have!

that makes a lot of sense... I was wondering which i should do

when trying to stabilize the ec..
Right now i got
1.5 ml si
5 ml of grow
then watered down to 1 ec..

how is all this gonna correspond with the UC?
I was reading their feed chart, it is ridiculously low compared to other feed charts?
