like I said that was a old pic before it got hung now here is a pic of it hung and the tote have cant remember what it was called but holy wow best I have ever seen took the tot from 150f down to 74f about to cover may walls in this stuff lol

also it was not cheap at all but way worth it

You should have at least 8" ducting and inline fan sucking the heat of that ac. You cannot just let it blow out the back.

I see a couple things that will help u.. Your plastic tote on back should be upgraded. It would be nice if you could pull air from outside thru back of ac then out the shaker diy...
Secondly you arnt really accomplishing much BECAUSE your 6" vent is un insulated.. Its like a hot metal tube putting heat off right back in your grow room... Go to lowes and get you a 25 box of insulated ducting.. I bet it will drop it 5 more degrees... Prob get 10 if you redo the tote shaker unit..

why not its so strong I have to screw the top on bc it keeps popping off even with the side locks?

all I have is 6 inch and its id say 2ft long and then its out side

also every one the heat was there before the ac I got the ac to bring down the heat and it kinda of was working but was not where u would really want It was about 100 all the time in there got the ac cam down to high 70s but now every day out side is in the damn 100-115 feels like

that ducting is that stuff the hole stack is less then a pound at first in my flower room I had that stuff u are sooooo right gettttsssss sooooo hot

Put a 6"inline fan on it and you temp will drop i promise. Not my first rodeo, I've ran ac's like that for years. The ac will run even better with the 8 inch.
Temps at 105 degrees... your lucky nothing has started melting yet

i agree with this alot.same reason i said get the ass end outta the trailor(i kno its not an option for u tinder)this wud b yur nxt best thing.portable and window units r 2 differnt things wen venting.i think i remeber yur thread wen u made it,but just so i remeber yur tote is only covering the back of ac right?the sides r open right?they push old air out very back,and only back,and drawls air n from sides(which is the hot ass air yur trying to remove

hehe of course its just the ass end just took a temp of the inside of the box 171f out side the box 76f that's so crazy to day they saying its going to be the hottest so far so this is going to b fun

i hope you figure this out mama.shitty situation.remeber this battle nxt yr tho n get another ac n there so you can b proactive nstead of reactive.i rock 2600k hps n my veg n it takes 2×8k ac's for mine.i think yur ac will cover yur lights,u need another for ambient heat.n id run that r13.i had to.regardless i hope u dind a solution to at least limp threw this heat this summer.good luck mama

I kind of have 2 ac one is just in the room where I get my air I dump in the room so I don't count that one there is no way i could add another ac my light bill is all ready more then a houses power bill and i live in a trailer
and ty i can use all the luck i can
