I believe what he is trying to say is that the vents on the sides are pulling the air from the room and spitting it out the back through your box. Depending on the cfm of the condenser blower vs the cfm of the evaporator fan you could be neutralizing the effectiveness of the a/c.
Why don't you take some ducting and run intake lines to the vents in the sides and pull air from the outside to run over your condenser. Check your other a/c unit, go outside and check the force that coming out the back of it compared to what is coming out the vent in the front of the unit inside the house. Which feels more powerful ? You always have more air flow over a condenser than an evaporator coil

I hav rotating fan on plants,and box fan controlling temps inbetween light/top of canopy.so i dnt honestly kno, id gues at least 110° right at bulb no fan.
