I believe what he is trying to say is that the vents on the sides are pulling the air from the room and spitting it out the back through your box. Depending on the cfm of the condenser blower vs the cfm of the evaporator fan you could be neutralizing the effectiveness of the a/c.
hav u tried turning inline off just to c what happens?smell isnt an issue for me cause im n middle of nowhere.hav u tried running it 15min on,15min off?just to c if ac can catch up?

Air exchange is important.but temps r way more important.(imo)u can get from a-z with minimal air exchange,u cant however hav high temps without stalling everything

well the air that is getting pulled out of the room comes from other room so I would not be sucking the cold air out of my room I was making that mistake at first

the fan scrubbing the air what u think is better sucking air though the scrub or pushing air out of it

that sucks..ive been slowly switching over to them.all r still n box so i havnt dealt with one yet
they are sosososos good just real hot had it next to my 600 super hps and the plants where bending to grow to the lec

i run mine carbonfilter~inline~out of rm.but i do run speed controllers so it dnt sounds like a fighter jet n my space.lol.also n fall/spring/winter i hav my inline only kick on 15min an hr.

that is how I had mine but was told was sucking all cool air out the room so now its just carb fan room

the fan sucking the air over the lights and out I took the duct off and the air coming out was ranging 110-120 thinking I could of cooked a egg lol

wondering it like this if u have a room that is 200f and u put a ac in that room and the room comes down to 100f is it the ac fault the room is still hot or is it the heat sources fault ?
I believe everyone that has replied to your thread has been doing nothing but trying to help you with your situation. If you didn't size your a/c to the requirements of your grow area and climate it is not our fault.
I've lived in trailers and I can tell you 5k of a/c is barely enough to cool a 8x12 room without anything else running in it.
Anyways ,best of luck with your endeavors as I am out of here!

i hope yur battle comes to an end soon mama.nothing worse then having weed growing but no meds...hav u ever seen that tar shit for roofs thats black and dries silver?its commonly used on trailor to reflect heat.u can roll it on with roller but yur roller is fuckd afterwards its so thick

I wud b writing down every problem u r having now,so u can attack it 1 at a time this fall-nxt spring.

I feel like people are trying to help but don't know how to so they trouble shooting
like u said a 5k ac can hardly keep up bc of the size of the room and the heat that Is being put on that 8x12 not that its hung wrong or the ducting is to thin

u are saying bout what im saying the ac is to small so the heat is still going to be there just not as crazy high

if I had cash out the butt this is how I think I would fix this bigger ac and better fan sucking the heat off the lights and lots of wall insalat
i hear ya...just stay humble cuz we all hav had our fair share of problems.if growing trees was easy everyone wud b doing it.not trying to push u n2 selling but any chance u can drop a zip after this run?shud pay for the ac.or edibles.....lol.invite people over,o.d. them on yur cookies n wen they fall asleep go threw there pockets.lmfao

I don't sell id have to save up from work but for real on this one im done taking peoples word on here im super green so I see some one with 10k likes im like wow this guy knows whats up so I play along but what people don't seem to get is that just bc it works for u don't mean its going to work for every one so this time going to do a lot more reading now after this thread I think I have a better grip on whats going on after looking in the walls and there is nothing but hot air I think I know whats going on did I for get to say I also have a sky light and 4 windows that I think are letting hot air get sucked in by the air flow

I got them same shitty sky lights.n u r right whats wrks n one garden doesnt n another.i hav no inline n my veg(which is the trailor) i just crack those n have my box fans aimed there.but def read read read.best way ever.u r spot on on the likes..good luck momma

That material like was mentioned to coat the roof would be my no.1, that can be done any day early, before the suns too hot. Then room by room I'd start working on the interior walls getting them insulated, and important not to overlook the floor, as that probably isn't insulated either.
Sorry I don't see just one thing to solve all the overheating going on, but you have to start somewhere. Good luck hope you get this situation straightened out.
