YES...
I should of supercropped, veg another week, then flipped..
But it might fill in a lot more than what I think befor its over..
We will lollipop Sun night,
everything that hasnt made it up to the scrog...
And then we will put the second net in :)

Lookin great brotha. I can't wait to see some more closer shots. They've all Been of the whole Grow soon we'll see some bud shots. The only thing I can think is what you said. Could have filled it a bit more. But remember this is a pheno run. So F vegging an extra week and lets start seeing some pheno expression. Hahaha

Any of you guys watch breaking bad??? A fly just followed me into the room and it took me 15 min to chase him out. I was going crazy like Walter white.

If you don't watch that won't make sense. Lol

For sure! Ya I havent concerned myself with anything but getting as many tops to the top of that screen before Sun night.... In about 3 weeks we will start to see some flowers with a lil swell...

I bought my first phototron in 1990. Cops took it in 1992. It was ready to harvest 4 oz of the best shit i've smoked to date. I keep hoping that will change. :)
The instructions are as follows: from a seed, as soon as a side branch had 2 sets of leaves cut the sucker leaf. (I dont do it exactly like that anymore). Of course the phototron was based on side lighting so side branching was plentiful.
One day I visited my brothers outdoor grow, also in the 1990's, I suggested I cut a few leaves and he freaked! I convinced him to let me trim 1 plant. A few days later he called be back to trim the rest because the one bushed out so much :)

Well first of all nobody taught me how to scrog. I heard of the concept and maybe saw a pic or two and went to work. I learned years later how everyone else does it. I still do it my way mainly because it works great in my situation. I move plants from a veg room to a flower room and that's hard to do in a scrog. So I fill the screen all at once after i move it into the flower room. Sometimes I will leave the hps lights on 24 hours for 1-2 days then go 12/12. Sometimes i go straight to 12/12. Also while in veg I don't top the last 2 weeks. To screen all at once I spread my plant out under the screen filling the whole 4x4 area. Actually I pull most of it up through the center of the screen then weave it towards the outside.
I will document it next time. Probably in few months

The sea of green (SOG) method is another type of growing technique that encourages high yields. In a way, it is the exact opposite of SCROG. SCROG uses a few plants and creates multiple, highly developed budding sites. SOG, however, uses many plants (30 to 40) and focuses on the development of one primary cola.

After clones are given 1 to 2 weeks to establish, they are switched into flowering. This causes the clones to go into overdrive. Their stalks begin to thicken and they start to produce a single, impressive flower.

In rare cases, the plants simply stretch tall and produce a small bud. For this reason, SOG can only be done with clones. Seedlings do not react this way when rapidly switched into flowering.

SOG requires very intense lights and more maintenance. You save quite a bit of water with the SCROG technique. You can also get away with less light using SCROG.

While sativas take nicely to SCROG, indicas are best suited for the SOG method. Plants in SOG rarely reach a height of more than 12 inches (30 cm).

The SOG technique is quite a bit faster than SCROG. The SOG method is typically used by professional growers who need high yields very quickly. SCROG is better for the average home grower, who wants to get a ton of product out of just a few plants.

The high number of plants used in the SOG method also makes for greater legal troubles in some areas. In most legal states, you can only grow 4 to 6 plants. This makes SCROG a better option for most people.

Overall, you can get a similar yield using both methods

Well put. It seems that scrog is where it's at in my case.
