No but i will be doing it soon :)hello I was wondering if anyone has done any grows with cmh and led together for flower?
Was thinking something like this or similar in price Range..What kind of LED are you talking about? Any time you add LED it's a good thing.
My flower area is 4x8 gorilla grow tent and will be 4K and 3k lightsWhat size is your grow area? How many watts is your CMH?
I plan on doing it aswell just was asking for any input first lolNo but i will be doing it soon :)
Is this the one you are talking about ?So that sounds like about 29.5 watts per square foot. I would definitely add some Led. Maybe like two of the 600s that would give you 500 more true watts per square foot. That will put you up to about 45 true watts per square foot that would be killer. Take a look at the galaxyhydro 600.
Gonna try 630s in the gavitas? No but i will be doing it soon :)
Nice would be interesting see out come of that growGonna try 630s in the gavitas?
Yeah most people will tell you it's junk. The fact is all the lower end LEDs you could call junk for some reason or another. I like that one because it has 3 watt LEDs it's more efficient as far as heat and electricity and it's not blasting unusable light when it says full spectrum they mean full plant Spectrum. plus it has a ton of great red nm for flower and it includes UV and ir. Any of them will work I would just try to get something heavy in the red for flower. Is this the one you are talking about ?
Thank you that is the purpose of this thread is to learn more and hopefully help others along with my self. I had no idea that each LED light could be watts and do they give off heat?i like the idea of giving off some more red uv the LEDs will be used only during flower along with the cmh. Now could I possibly fit 3 315w cmh and 3 600 watt galaxy hydro led in the 4x8?Yeah most people will tell you it's junk.
