I slide it down as far as you could get it now. Bend the branches out like an umbrella and slide the net over them..

See im a beast homie..
I have no fear..

I would supercrop all the branches on the bigger plants so i could drop the net even further...
I have that scrog filled in and ready to flip 2 weeks
Sounds like a good plan. Less veg time = faster turnover! Love it. Time to get to work. I have been thinking I need to speed up my cycle time. A harvest every two months would be nice.

Well I've never super cropped before and I kinda pussed out. I put the net where I thought it would be on the three big plants, but I was a little too high (pun intended). Anyways I did have to supercrop a few of the tallest branches so maybe I'll gain some confidence in the technique. I'll probably need an extra week because of my screw up. Still, my first scrog!

let me see the mess ups...
They heal but you can tape them if you want some reassurance..

lol its scary the first time! Ive never lost a branch and ive been pretty violent.
I would of dropped that net 6 to 10 more inches with my super cropping..
Ive wrapped tape around the teeth on big pliers and squeezed them nice and easy around and up and down then bend that bitch over!
No pun intended...

The mess up was not following your instructions exactly and supercropping them first. I tried to measure how high it would have to be to then supercrop them into the net but I put it so high that two of the three plants are barely big enough to reach the net so no supercropping them for now. I guess I'll just keep weaving them in until flip. (hopefully two or three weeks)

See here is the thing that is gonna make you cry...
Everything thats under your net we are goona tear off!
Thats like 2 of your whole plants...
ITS A COMPLETE WASTE..
I would just take the net off and flip them to flower.
how big is your light, I forgot?

Baw chica baw baw!!!!

It's a 315 cmh. I figure everything below the net will get lollipopped off after I fill the net. You don't think I should scrog? I will get enough to last quite a while from my outdoor grow so I'm willing to experiment a little. I'd like the bubbas girl to get a week or two more veg anyways so I'm really not ready to flip yet.

Well if your aware then your free to do what you want to esp if you dont feel pressed for time.
If it was me!!
Im saying me, so maybe other ppl would have different thoughts,
I would want to even my canopy as soon as possible.
I would do it with super cropping..
but if i was scared to super crop,
I would pull the very top fans on all of your bigger plants.
That will give some time to the smaller one to catch up while bushing out the ones you deleaf..
Will make an awesome canopy in a few weeks!
Promise!
This is wishers technique..

Clipped the top fan leaves off 4 of my girls that hit 12". We'll see how they respond. The rest need to grow a lil more first.

I said I'd post pics of the progress so here

And when I say very top fans I cant stress enough that i mean the very top fans. If they got a 1/16 of a stem , cut it..
cause if you dont you stunt the node below it and the top stretches even further, 180 from what you want..
now you can cut both and it will stunt both,
which is a way of really slowing up the biggest one,
and really pulling all the lowers up, something you would only consider on a run away plant...

Supper cropping is my fav thing to do!
It spreads plants out quickly.
Since I'm doing another pheno run and I don't want to fight heights on all the seeds I don't know how they will turn up I'm just gonna use stakes and Super Cropping. Then with my clone runs I'll scrog it out. Too much of a pain with 8 different height plants

I was already using that technique on a couple of the highest tops, but I would really like to try a scrog. Since the little seedling is so far behind I'll just keep weaving until it's ready to flip. I'm thinking two weeks at most. I'm going to try to get quicker next time, but the pheno hunt has kind of got me in a bit of a bind. I need to know which one to keep soon so I can stop wasting time and space on phenos that I don't want to keep. You already helped me out a lot with your advice, I was going to put the net at 3 feet lol. I would have been waiting two months to fill that. Thanks for the help! So from now on it's fill the canopy asap and flip for the short cycle time win!
