I wasn't sure where to put this, so I'll try here. I am not affected by edibles other than a very low grade buzz. I've consumed 2/3 of a 500 mg medical brownie. Nada. Gummies - nothing either. All were commercially produced.

From the little research I've done, it seems as those who are unaffected (very small percentage) generally have some underlying intestinal issue - IBS, Crohn's, etc. I don't have any of those. I've had digestive issues, but nothing even requiring medical supervision.

Is anyone else a unicorn too? Working on trying tincture soon.

I'm generally the same way, it takes very very strong homemade medibles for me to feel anything. I put 3/4g BHO and 1g reclaim into a single batch of fruity pebbles treats, and those were some of the few that actually did it for me. Every time a buddy is like "be careful only eat half" I always eat the whole thing generally with no feeling what so ever

Eat one of my 80mg edibles and I can guarantee you'll feel it. Imo, most marketed or store bought products are made weak and labeled more potent than what it actually is. And who knows what's actually inside and how their made.

ree. Commercial level stuff is about money. They say if you want to be sure something is right sometimes got to do it yourself. That way you know what it really is and what's in it. Not going by what someone else is telling you while trying to sell a product.

I do know that I saw the same 500 mg brownie completely couchlock a pro for about 6 hours. I ate about 300 mg of one with minor effects. While I certainly agree that there may be some number fudging going on in commercial packaging, I'd be surprised if there was that big of a difference.

@Ceveres - Do you have any medical conditions or anything atypical about your digestive tract? I eat lots of spicy food. But that's about it for me. Dealt with IBS-like symptoms a few years back, but nothing serious or long-lasting.

Homemade using decarbed herb, brings out the physcoactive effect that smoking does. I'll get ya high off one of these, yes eat the whole thing. I make them for folks that can't sleep well. I've always had repeat treat buyers.

Yes sir! A story about how products are made does go along way in the edible game. If you don't know what strain or what butter, shit like that makes edibles worth finding out about how they were made. I love it!

Our friend has pretty severe MS. In wheelchair..
Her legs convulse so bad they bruise. Pain is 8 on the 10 scale.
uncomforting 10..
She takes just a very small amount of some coco canna oil we donate and the results are remarkable..
Convulsions gone Pain reduced from 8 to about 3..
she never used cannabis before was reluctant now she uses daily..
So easy and cheap to make..we use the sugar trim....all mixed up different strains...for aches and pains..lol....
Also the fella down the hill got off the Oxys and uses the same for sleep and back pain issues.
Also have had reports of little if any relief, depends on person seems non rec users meaning true med patients find the most relief.
I did a huge glob once, woke up 5 am had not moved from couch mouth wide open....

I ate one treat a few weeks back during the day, I couldn't get up all day. I would get up but my body was so tired. I wasn't happy about wasting my day away.

I make cannabutter for my 3x MS patients. 75% cbd and 25% thc extract per stick. 2 of 3 kicked 8 scripts daily and sleeps a full 8 hrs. Last one kicked 3 scripts and sleeps about 6 full hrs. Night and day difference than before I started helping them.

I'm having knee surgery 1st week in October. I'll make 48x 1ml doses of 50/50 cbd/thc tincture just for myself to take vs the norcos they'll give me. I'll consume the 48 doses in the 3-4 days hoping I don't need the norcos.

That's a huge side effect. Now they make a pill to combat just that (oic). Make a pill to counteract the side effects if another pill.

Hmm seems you only need marijuana, and maybe more marijuana. Not pills and more pills.

Used to have minor stomach issues in years past, just kinda chocked it up to smoking too much at night and letting the munchies get the best of me. Would puke in the morning sometimes. Nothing diagnosed though. Haven't had any problems for quite some time though. I also enjoy spicy foods.

I'm sure commercial places are fudging numbers a little but not that much that no medibles would work. Even my friends homemade stuff that's supposed to be "fire" were weak to me.

I actually just got a message from a delivery guy. Said my edible had him on the couch all day. Chalk it up, thank you.
