Awesome.. I want (1)18 inch apical cola every 1/2 gal pot
36 pots in a 3x3..
These plants I just grew got some pretty big colas.
Im thinking they are perfect for this.
So 36 clones from exact same pheno..
It says this method is mainly for clones because of the way they stack nodes.. And the way they will take off when put straight into flowering a week after root..
Im guessing the clones are the same age as the mother,
and are somehow more mature ?
All I know is Im ready!!!!
I need that timer Joey2fingers!
so basically you would trim off every branch @12" of plant hight
when I say branch I mean anything actually looking like a branch
not the small nodes coming of that would potentially turn into a branch
but the actual branch
and flip
should reach about 18-24" and should bring you solid colas

I know! I forgot when I went in the shop. Need to go get it tomorrow. Hahah.

I'm glad you're doing this because when I find my phenos I like I plan on doing pretty much the same. Except maybe 2 strains. One in each 4x4 under a gavita each.
I like this because, I still got my 4x8 to murder my scrogging. I feel like 4x8 is solid production tent, where as, i can do many things with the 3x3 tent. I can run it all the same pheno, or I can run a pretty good pheno run in a 36 site. I could pheno 3 dif strains at the same time with 12 plants a piece. Led will need minimal cooling..

I think I understand. I watch what you do and well i always post pictures, so we all see..

I think I already read that one.. I check it out.

I veg in 1 room and flower in another. This makes it harder to train my scrogs.
I could fill my screen better if I could veg for a week or so in my flower room.
How long can I veg under a 1000w hps?
People run hps the full run. I wouldn't but lots of people do it. If anything they will stretch a lil more than the t5 or mh I believe which is good for filling a scrog

Ya I had read that one, but I reread it again for a refresher..
Im kind of excited to do something new!
I will how ever have to build my table,
as I need precise measurements,
of 33 inches OD.
I also need my sides to be as thin as possible..
2x4 will not work.
Im thinking 1x4
for walls and bottom.
Wood glue and a few screws,
and a small liner.
res underneath
with drain to floor drain,
can be used as Flood and Drain,
and dtw with outside Attachment for res out side tent..
So i can try either dtw or F+d with-in 15 mins of each other.
I could even take the pots out and run rockwool slabs if I so wanted.
I can run f+d, dtw, and even recirculating coco,rw,hydroton..

Now thats having choices all in a 3x3 with $100 worth of stuff minus the led...

You could build it so the tray is just sitting completely on top of the table vs sitting recessed into it.. Just a thought.. was watching some old vader videos and thats what it looks like he does..

(tray is not shown in pic.. but i think you get the idea..)

that is exactly how i plan to do it.
Everything has to be 33x33 OD max!

So just went down to check on my plants and my timer was incorrect like i hadnt set it right bit im pretty damn sure I did!
I was down in the room earlier and i didnt see no lights on in the tent,
so i have no idea when lights went off or anything..
Im 3 days away from harvest, i dont think that should bother me...
but im on a mission to see wtf happened!

When I put new timers in I go in there at the time they are supposed to work every time like the first week. Hahah. Especially flower. I have lifts in 6pm to 6am. I wake up at 545 even on weekends for at least a week and check. If I work too early my wife has to get up and check. I'm paranoid I accidentally set it wrong. So I see it with my eyes the whole week tilll I k ow every day is set right. Hahaj

Im kind of anal like that. I didnt see it go off but i know it was off today cause i went in there. And it wasnt on like it should of been.
But you can bet I watch that mfer the next few days! lights on and lights off and a few times in between!

So i suck air out the top of both my tents coupled with a ducting coming to a T , with inline fan sucking air thru the T, then thru inline carbon filter

and then thru ductable dehuey

Upload 2017 9 22 19 45 24

then back in thru bottom of tent, with mini split in tent...
Now we are completely sealed..
But these dehueys are ridiculously priced.. got to find one on ebay thats in good working condition..
U might just want to fork out the money for new with warranty...

Sleeping babies.

I will always wonder how much damage I did to the tray in the right. They were the ones that were just a few days old when the heat issue happened. The ones on the left were closer to a week old. Only a few days but they had a few nodes and at that stage the roots were way more established I believe
I k ow they don't look terrible but I can see how some have not been growing to their potential at all. The left tray is 2 trains but the thing they have in common is a couple more days of root growth compared to first set of leaves.
I'm confident they will be strong at the flip and the phenos that were gonna produce will still produce.
But I can't help but notice the difference in the 2 trays and the only difference is the age during the heat stress

Im wondering how much more cfm i should upgrade my inline fan to push thru the dehuey when it isnt running..
I still have to push air thru them coils.
