I mean look at this before and after 1 day apart! You can see the difference in A2 and B2.

That recipe brought me to 7.1pH. My tap, unusualy, started off at 8.0 pH after I let it sit indoors for a couple of days.
I def wouldnt use tap with it
RO
my recipe is for RO only
start with nothing and end with exactly what you need
with Tap maybe you start with no Si and go from there

I believe on the bottle it even states with RO water
I am sorry if I misled you
I dont think I would ever grow in Coco if I was using tap

Ahhhhhhhh well you know. RO water for 25 cents a gallon is always an option but I'll just see what happens for now.

I reserve 5 gallons of RO water for when I see the first sign of problematic symptoms.
Get you about 5 blue 5 gallon Alhambra or whatever jugs. Go to the store once a week and fill them. Or however many you need. I go to the grocery store every Saturday morning. Get my groceries and fill my jugs. Super easy and cheap and well worth it trying to fight that tap water. I tried tap in the beginning with coco and had nothing but problems. And we have great tap water where I live

Well then that sucks. What sort of problems?

well stated
Tap is nothing but problems....nomatter what nute you use
I only use Tap in my backyard with my organics where there is so much life that all the shit in the water gets filtered and broken down
but not in a hydroponic media

and that is in ground....not in pots for the organics

I would reveg using 24 hours of light
lol,,
Crazy!
But thats what Im doing since I got a defective light controller..
And get this!
I sent them a Email saying
you sent me a defective light controller and it has messed up my flowering cycle costing me thousands of dollars, and im pissed,
and im giving you until morning to have me a solution
before I leave feed back..
Woke up this morning,
they refunded ALL my money back,
and told me just keep the controller..

So wonder if I can fix it.. Its just a timer and a relay...
Here is a diy controller which gives you idea of whats inside..

DISCLAIMER:

my CNS17 recipe is only to be used with RO water.....run specifically in coco

this recipe may be used in other growing media and different water sources at your discretion
Per Gal
Mother Plant/Veg
Silica Blast 5ml
Grow 18ml

Bloom
Silica Blast 5ml
Bloom 18-22ml

Ripe *last 2 weeks before Flush*
Silica Blast 3ml
Ripe 20ml then 14ml

then flush for 1 week

this is my recipe that has worked for me for many years

Right tray is finally starting to catch up to the left. Had to be patient
No changing things
No chasing deficiencies when I see spots or leaf issues/slow growth
Everything stays the same and allow them to adjust and get back to health. If my feed is complete why would I change or add or take anything away. Have to let them to their thing and adjust.
Remember we were talking about this before event?

That goes hand in hand with what I just posted about not changing things.
If you beleive in the recipe, trust it and let it work it out.
Unless you learn a certain strain really needs more or less of something, but that is figured out in time and WHEN the recipe is down you don't change things. (Feed wise)
You look to change the environment because more than likely that is where the problems arise
