Event do you wait 2 weeks to start super cropping or do you do it during stretch if some go rogue? Lol

Well I pulled number 4 off the hangers and trimmed it up.

after de-stem and final trim, prob 1/4# per plant.

I would crop during stretch

so that once stretch is done the plant can focus on flower

Do you purposely stretch yours? Last time my plants stayed short and bushy and tbh I would've liked them to be a little taller

Ok so just as they shoot up during stretch keep them even.

I like them to stretch out a little but need to maintain an even canopy.
No net this time to keep it down.

I actually keep my light 24" above canopy until stretch is done
then lower it to 14"

im legit now almost. just have to wait for the temps to drop a bit more.. then install it, no more red light im sure that will make you happy event hah. :P

i remember you exact quote.. "I knew it! the red light stretched it etc.." ok not exact but good enough for grenades!

sounds good. its adjustable, i like that too.

depends on what you want the stretch to be
but say 24-36" and then when stretch is over drop to 14"

My quality is lacking tho..
But that has more to do with genetics and used bulbs more than my growing ability.
I also feel like the co2 might have stretched my buds a lil bit..
My smell seems to be trapped in the middle of the bud so im hoping a good cure will take care of that..
All and all not too bad.

The only time i crop after that is in emergency situations..
Autos are very unpredictable and so cropped at different stages..
Personally i wouldnt crop unless you got a net or yoyo's
Reason being, they just gonna stand right back up on you..
Plants are resilient sumbeaches..

Is 5 to 10 degrees lower to promote good bud structure..

Imo i just raise the lights and let them stretch to it then lower it week 3 or 4..

Hopefully going to get the same setup the other end of the loft. Want more plants to play with I might chuck a sneaky pic of what I've been doing this summer up later. Man cave / workshop.

Pretty stoked, doesn't look like any of my plants are going to herm on me as far as i can tell. Beginning to see white hairs everywhere. They look like they are going to be about the perfect size too, might have to super crop my alien rift leaner cause she is getting sort of big but she might end up being just right.. Definitely using that fan leaf technique from now on.

IMO
crop quality wouldnt have anything to do with used bulbs

more to do with the use of CO2 and over fertigation
pushing the plant to produce more biomass at the expense of quality

but that is just My Opinion

This is the problem I had. The outside seemed dry and had the typical dried straw smell. Then you break into it and it's stinky af.
