Im building for the 8x8 me and joey are doing next fall..
Now I just need the mini split and the 3 led kits...
those 3 leds run 800 a piece...
the minisplit is 600
I have to rock the next 2 runs to make it happen!

just fill the pot with coco and feed with nutrients until you dont see brown run out the bottom
then take a funnel or a sharpie and jab a hole in the center and circle it around to make a wide hole
drop the roots downwhile twisting
pack the coco around the base and call it a day
wait a few days for the coco to start to dry a bit then start with daily watering

yeah allow the roots to search a little
maybe 3 days or so
then start feeding them every day

Yea that is very good info. I guess I assumed that them being "beneficial" was them eating larvae of something as well as organic matter.
That's what happens when you assume. Lol.

No problem man....... Springtails and coco seem to go together BTW. due to the fact that coco is organic matter and over time in does actually degrade/ decompose. So they love it.

It looks like your seedlings are starting to stretch. Drop that t5 a little closer so they dont get to tall and spindly.

He may have been to shook up to really notice the intricacies. They come out the bottom when you water....like a lot..
I dont seem to have them now..
Kinda strange..
I only see them in coco..

The one thing about scrogging and the UC
is i cant do no root pruning.
I find root pruning to be very " productive to big buds. Prunning down below is as important as up top. :)
As it causes laterial branching in the roots too...

dropped them this morning.. Everything is looking fantastic so far..

They crawl around and float on top of the water.
I dont know if they really do jump and here is why I say that.
I just grew out 11 plants and only 1 had them.
they were with in 2 feet of each other and that one was dead in the middle..
They mifgt jump 3/1000's of an inch, hell idk.. I cant see that well.
I fed it caps teas and they lived thru that..
Like I said I didnt notice any ill effects from it...
