I think Joey said he's running his every hour for 20 mins right? He is running dtw though not flood and drain. His plants are monsters though lol maybe I should build up to it.

I run 20 SECONDS every hour. Hahaha
Not 20 min. My water usage is about the same as 1 min every 3 hrs

But yes F and D is appealing. I’m gonna do math and see how much I️ save after this run but l think short feedings more often are a great option. Def a lil more wasteful but it hasn’t been too bad

Actually as I️ do the math 1 min every 3 hours is the same exact water usage as 20 sec every hour. And that’s what I was before. The 1 min every 3 hours I️ believe was more wasteful as I️ had about 150% runoff. Hahaha

Now I’ve been able to lower my ppm and have less runoff. So in essence I’m actually using a lil les nutes with 29 sec every hour than 1 min every 3 hr

I think you go f&d in coco/hydroton mix with floods every hr!
The hydroton will give you the ability to dry really quick in flower!

The hydroton will give you the ability to dry really quick in flower!

Exactly what I’m thinking.
Basically what l want right no is to have the feeding every hour like l have but have some way to recirculate it just to save on nutes a lil. But don’t want to affect the effectiveness of the hourly feedings.

I’m actually thinking more of a modular ebb and flow. Same as f and d but runs thru pots like a rdwc. Pots of hydroton connected with pvc running feeds thru every hour back to the res

The closest thing to what I’m doing but using the hydroton so I can recirculate

My belief is 1k for every 4x4 square. Whether it’s 1 or 1000 4x4s

Those ipower ballast dovthe same exact thing as my quantum ballasts and you can still put a horti or whatever bulb in there. Full setups for 1k are like 140

Just like you and event and Wisher and everyone know tho, just so the new guys here know, there isn’t any magic trick or some confidential secret. I’ve put no less than 2 hrs in my Grow every single day since starting minus my honeymoon
And that’s not counting time reading and researching which is easily more

You have to put the time in like anything else. Decide how much time you can dedicate and base your Grow on that. Don’t bite off more than you can chew. Have to have a passion for it. You get what you put in
