i was already contemplating throwin down a sil crop till i get all the sht i need, but $ not really a issue, i can get a chiller but im not worried bout getting to hot, more losing temps at night. i have a dehumidifier and was thingking about investing in a ecotechnic fan controller with temp and humidity

Woody Harrelson made headlines when he announced earlier this year that he quit smoking marijuana.

Now, in a new interview, the Oscar-nominated actor says it was difficult to share the decision with his cannabis enthusiast friend Willie Nelson.

“That was a very hard one to break,” he said in an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Friday. “At first, I’m like pretending [to smoke a joint]. I’m just holding it because I don’t want him to know and then finally I’m like, ‘Willie, I quit.'”

But it has apparently taken Nelson some time to come to terms with the change.

“And still it never fails, the joint comes around and he passes it to me,” Harrelson said. “He keeps waiting for me to smoke again.”

Another week and a half we'll see it in action. I got the ebb and flow kit and the water and air pumps coming tomorrow. It will be interesting learning to keep up a reservoir. I got the home depot cement buckets for $12.95 each. The table is exactly one foot high and the res slides under perfectly. Gonna try some cns when my canna runs out. The trough is not as wide as I'd like but it should be ok since I'm only running 3 to 4 plants at a time.

Not sure what nutrients/medium you are using but you might not even need to use the air pump.. if you have your water pump turn on at least once or twice a day the water will circulate enough that it doesn’t need the extra air..

pretty sure he runs chillers now too.
He has had a rocky start too with keeping low enough ppm to not cause tox. The temp of your water will have a dirrect correlation in the ability to up take nutrients. 68 to 72 degree flux happen in rdwc all the time, and what will absorb at 72 and 68. Those swings are not good for it either. It will change the tds reading as well.
But me and him chatted a lot when he first started it up. The second one he has is 6 buckets...
So you want to build a 2 bucket one eh? That is a smart investment. I understand that.

Yeah, I plan on watering at least twice a day. I'll turn the air pump all the way down then and maybe even put it on a timer so it's not running all the time. I was thinking about a waterfall setup instead of air pump. I would probably need a strong pump for that right?

lol it is pretty cool, but cool and efficient is 2 different things,, but I deff like it, and was smoked out brain storming this same idea! Fuckers must of got some of my Purple Urkle, cause thats what i was smoking on when i was designing it mentally :)

the overflow side on your ebb and flow kit is your water fall effect, imo you should be fine with no air pump if you will be doing at least twice a day.
