You're giving those things nutes? You're going to fry them man. Seedlings don't need nutes for a while

Remember this is coco so we don't ever give plain water until the end. With canna I like to give at least 2ml/gal a and b

Both grows with coco I've given only water for the first 2 weeks or so. Nothing but greens leaves. A seed should have enough nutrients in it already for the seedling phase

hahahahah
dude stop
please know what you are talking about before you say shit

because....many times you really dont

yes give them nutes
I hit my seeds with nutes full blast
they will be perfectly good to go

So farmer, any ideas y she would pop up yell9w like that? I got the nutes very close to the goal range. The only nutes mixed in was cns17 grow n a little ph down .
Like i said b4 the ph is around 5.9/6 n ppm was like 730 or soo
some do this
some seeds arent good
even from reputable seed companys
nothing is guaranteed

I see the other one looks good to go

Aifht fellas, lets pass the j!!! No need for the fuss we all have our own opinions. Thanks everyone for the advice tho. Ill let yall know how shes doing when i get home from work

And on the other end of the spectrum, I don't give them nutes. And they do just fine.

This isn't anecdotal. Just because you do something one way doesn't mean it's the only way. Maybe you kinda sound like the organic idiots a little? Since you know, their way is the only way and all.

Whatever. Peace.
can you tell me why those dudes over there put there seeds in a living organic soil with available nutrients

or when someone starts a seed in say .....FFOF ....Fox Farms

those are considered hot mixes

with coco you want nutes in the medium maintaining a ionic balance
the roots of the seedling isnt gonna take up anything....not until it is estabished

but once estabilished...it will take what it wants

you have to understand the inique properties of coco

if he was in promix or a little plug I would say water until the first set of leaves

but in coco he isnt watering the seedling
he is feeding the coco and adding O2 to the root zone

Soo i shouldnt change anything? Maby it will take care of itself today. They really havnt had any light up until a few hours ago.

Nah your doin fine, I gave all my seedlings full nutes too per these guys instructions and they are doin great.. once they have the light on em for a day or so it will green up. I’ve had a few seedlings do this.

the reason is that it is probably yellow is no light

when you put the popped seed in the coco it should be under at least 18 hours of light
when they pop they will be green
green is a reflection of green wavelengths of light
if they arent recieving light they will come out yellow or white

you can do this by germinating a bean in a plastic bag with some wet cotton balls
when the bean pops keep it in there
for a week
no light...keep it dark like in a cupboard

when you open it
you will find a yellow or white bean seedling lookin like its on its death bed

light and CO2 is plant food
nutrients are the building blocks

3 times a day 15 mins each time
Wow see i only had mine on 2 times a day with t5 and that was my big moms..
I thing she just a lil waterlogged with her young roots.
even tho coco has 30% air when fully saturated, it still can make some funny leaves when young in my experiance.
I might drop down to 2 feedings and raise the plant an inch

I thought we told him to read up on cation exchange?

I really think its his water temps
if the temps are to low
that will def effect nutrient uptake
the roots in that cup should have been much fuller than that
I think he should pull another plant that looks good and see what its roots look like
I bet much fuller

Ok maybe I reduce to once per day? My cookie glue cut is like 14” tall and it’s drinking pretty quick is the only reason I had 3x per day.
