I've been kinda pushing it the past couple days with two of the plants. I water to runoff, but there isn't a whole lot of runoff. So, I wanted to make sure to really wash them out good today, especially since I just cut more than half a grocery bags worth of vegetation off between the 4 of them

thats is good
nice airflow under the skirt lets them breath
less chance of bugs and disease problems
and easier watering
they will now put all the effort into top production
also I dont know if I mentioned but
snap the top large leaves of the top of the colas to allow the lower parts of the cola to recieve more light
just the big leaves....any that have a semi extended stem say more than 2"
that gives your plants much more light to what is below just the top nugs

Well the 2 bigger ones was, mothers that been growing for like 2 months.
The other 2 are clones.
1 of them was an extra clone i had for the system, but it was a smaller clone so i picked a bigger one.
I just kept it cause it was in rockwool and that shit can be a night mare to grow in so i been challenging myself with it. Its practice with a plant that could die and not hurt...
The other one is my clone i flew out to cali and bought from Dark Hearts nursery...

That is a good job.. Removing that veg will allow your plant to push that feed water up to the tops where you want it. It will also allow better air flow which is invaluable against mold in deep flower esp when you have big colas all stacked together in a scrog net..

That's the only good thing about woeki ng afternoons for me. I do my garden after work, like 4 am. Nobody is up and I can enjoy my time in there.

Well I can finally get my oscillating fan under there now. Right now I have either a 8" or 10" stationary suspended in a top corner hitting the top of the canopy. I doubt I'll have much mold issue.. since I can only really keep my humidity at 50% max. Tried running the humidifier constantly and it just doesn't go up over that. It's better now with all the vegetation though.



Actually I was thinking of this last night and was going to ask you guys... So my tent is in the same room as the furnace. Any chance that thing is putting out extra CO2 for me? As in, an amount that's actually worth a shit

yeah actually it is
your CO2 down there is probably around 700
ambient is between 300-400

Think most of that is just coming from the pilot light? Obviously I'm running heat now, but my last grow it was summer so I was running AC. Hopefully that'll add to my yield then.

Tbh I have no idea what to even expect out of this yield. Completely different setup than last time

I smell like straight gg#4 lol. Just got back from helping the homie chop his room. He ended up with a few burnt buds but not too bad. He was taught some funky shit but I'm getting him to come around. He was in 10 gal Pro mix and was only feeding every 3 days. Got him to bump feed up and when we chopped today I showed him how he barely had roots in half the medium. Talked him into at least dropping to 5 gal pots this next round. He's using the fan leaf tek to train this time. Last run was terrible training. It looks like he may still get 4-5 units of good bud, Gg#4. He's got 6k hps in a 20 x 12 x 7 room. Gonna add 2 lights, he has co2 hooked up, botanicare full line, promix( couldn't get him into coco yet) minisplit, sealed room. He's a good friend so I'm trying to help as much as I can but he lives over an hour away and time is at a premium as you guys know already.

2 things,,, yes i bet you have high percentages. Mine around 550 on its own.
2nd thing.. but thats where you being a newbie comes into play..
See you will soon learn that what you cant abtain in veg you will have an abundance of in flower..
Humidity............
The plants when they go full bore in flower put off massive amounts of humidity themselves..
Its what we call transpiration..
You will have a hard time prob getting under 45

Ya I always trip when people can’t get rh above 50. I can’t get mine below 40 that’s with a really good deHuey.
Different environments tho. I know those cold environment get really low rh in the winter.
