Morning fellas!!! Soo heres the rundown. I got a lil toasted this morning and decided to see what was up w the fan for myself. Soo whatever they use for the tape they put aroud the motor on those things it came loose n was trying to be pulled into the fan causing rsttling noise. I decided just to try to fix it myself soo i cut the tape back enough to where its not possible to hit the fanblade n stuck it back as best i could. Everything sounds beautiful now!!
Ok, as for the purp shes lookn fine but it looks like the sj is trying to move away from the light kind of. Is that whats happening here fellas, n what does this mean? I should maby raise the light back up a little? Idk

damn thats nice that it was such an easy fix haha.. They look fine to me, if your really worried you could raise the light a little bit.. how far away is it again? and your dimmed to 50%?

its straight coco, pretty hard to overwater it..

@sixstring ...other cob growers...
how high do you go with your 50w cobs on your tree grows??
you know, that maximum before losing too much penetration and needing side lighting..... say 4 trees with mylar walls.

Just building my room and sort of battling how high i want to go with the ceiling. its sloping up so the higher i go the bigger the room gets. and the more obvious it is in the room next door.... stealth is very important....kids family....

i really dont want to be wishing i made it higher down the road. that already happened with my old hps room. tend to get bored with lil bushes and wanna go a bit bigger sometimes.:smoking:

your going want 18" max from top of canopy
you will be surely disappointed when you grow a tree and everything under 14-18" below top is larf

I run mine about 12" away from top of canopy
mine are ran at 75w each Cree CXB 3590's

yeah but how high would you wish your ceilings to be..... max tree hight for these crees @75w?

Yessirrr, i will probably just leave it. Unless im told otherwise, may just be that tiny stem bending frm the weight on those 2 big leaves. Lol the lighr right now is at 50% and about 30" away frm the plants.

I've basically not moved my light since I got it. Threw it in there and gradually cranked up how much power they were getting. Basically just letting the plants grow into the light.

On that subject I'm gonna charge up my quantum meter and see what my canopy is getting for PAR now
