I think the babies have figured out how to adjust themselves. Starting to grow a little faster and the yellow on the sj is turning lime green. I really like how different they look frm eachother!!!

Soo im gonna let my buddy borrow my 100 true watt led. He has one exactly like the 1 im letting him borrow. Would it be a bad idea for him to hook up both of those leds in 1 tent with 2 seedlings the same age as mine? I figured that since mine was 100 true watt n his is 100true watt then it would only work twice as well, 200w is better than 100w? Yay or nay lol

Well, i was thinking. We are literally running the same strains in the same exact everything except light and my seedlings was stretching hard w just the 100w led. Thats pretty much why i jumped on the 400w hps. Anyways, i was just wondering if maby it would help if his start stretching as well. In eithercase, in a few more weeks he could still throw the other led in his tent in combo w his when he starts really vegging hard?

You can fix stretching by moving the light closer though.

Actually, iirc, that light is concentrated in mostly red light. That's the problem.

Its too bad your friend cant get the same exact equipment you just grabbed haha.. He could even just get the 400watt with the batwing reflector and be fine for the colder months at least...

Funny thing is, when he saw mine he was like holy f#@& i gotta get one. He plans on it sometime after christmas. The ole lady is on him already ab spending money on everything else we got. Soo i just figured he could double up on the leds tilll then and probably get souble the growth. I was just being high thinking. Lol still am.

There's not much you're going to be able to do about stretching with those lights. He needs something heavier in blue light. Even if he added some 6000K or 6500K CFLs.

Yeah i gotchu w the stretching thing. I was just saying it couldnt hurt to have more wattage when he is n full veg right remember were talking ab crappy 100w fullspectrum leds that claimed 600w

I would say his best bet is to just keep vegging them under the Led(s) and get them as big as he can. Then when he gets his light setup after xmas thats when he should flip to flower.

I doubt it would do anything bad using both leds..

Yeah, thats kinda what i was thinking. Just for a little temporary boost till he can get the hps in there n a month or 2. Thanks fellas

Cool, thanks Wisher! What I am still struggling with a bit, never having done this, is how does it work and what's needed? Do I need a separate fan for the scrubber and lights as well as do I need to get a separate inline fan for each loght, do i just set up one larger fan, go to a manifold and then branch a duct line to each fan or do I run 1 and it just runs through all 3 in series and the sequentially rising temps one to the next are negligible (guessing the last one is doubtful.) Thanks!

I would run an 8" fan on the lights, coming from outside, thru fan and hoods then back outside.
(it never mixes with any air in the grow!!!!) just straight duct from outside to fan to hood to hood to hood to outside!!!
Then how big is your room?
I get another 8 to 10" fan and filter
Set the filter up high with fan sucking thru filter and put duct on other side of fan straight out side.
Make you a passive intake into the room.
Put the fan and filter combo on a temp controller so that its always on low but will speed up any time the temp climbs above what we set it at..

Oh, and any such gold tips on the best fan setup to cool those lights? Like to install it all at the same time if possible as I may go out of town Friday. The hoods are made for a 6" fan, and I also need carbon...these girls are putting out nice aromas, but ond of the legal requirements for growers here in WA state is that neighbors cannot smell it! (Good idea for security reasons anyway, I know.) But it is def time to tamp down the aroma of these girls :)

Go to see my lawyer shortly, then have the whole rest of the day to play in the grow room and shop. Love it!

Untill you get one you drive the one you got till the wheel fall off..
Tell your boy go for it with both leds.
Play with the distance tell he finds the sweet zone for them..
do the best you can with what you got!!!

Joey,, I feel like we all should just stop and have a moment of silence for how dank that looks!
But its gonna have to be quick because I still at damn near 50, decide to do things at the last min..
So im flying to the Lou, and my daughter is flying in from Miami, we gonna both meet, rent a car and head down home for thanksgiving.. Im gonna fill everything up and hope for the best lol
