Soo wisher or toph whenever i get the bio and tea how would u suggest i mix it without the +life, same as suggested before just minus the life. I think it was like 15ml tea and 5ml bio to a gal of my tap? You was saying the ppm dont really matter but i need to make sure when i mix it the ph is around 5.8 right because u was thinking the yellowing could be ph issues or excess n & p
no

here I will give instructions

it is MUCH better to use RO
if your ppms of tap are above 100
cut your tap with ro until you reach 100ppm

now
per gal
15ml Pure Blend Tea (botanicare)
3-5ml Bio-cozyme (grow more)
some type of biological *+life/Recharge etc*
use once a week as a drench to 15% runoff

NO ph checking
NO ppm checking

although this mix does hold some NPK value it is not considered a nutrient
rather a carbon source and bio-stimulant
mixed with fungi and bacteria this mix will greatly enhance the effects of the biology which lessens the strain put on the plant helping the plant to focus on veg/fruit production instead of sourcing nutrients
the plant Rhizospere has and will regulate its own ph value
when administering NPK value that value needs to be within range of ph for the plant to uptake
but
this tea mixture does NOT hold a nutritional NPK value therefore this mixture does not need to be within ph range

this tea mixture is to enhance and strengthin your growing medium in support of your plants roots
better the roots
better the fruits

for proof of effectiveness
I believe there are many on this thread that are using this mix and have I believe shown roots as well as sticky lovely flower tops

chop the ones in the pot still and hang them
once the stems start to crack (bend them and they give a stiff snap instead of bend) you can then jar them
I am not sure if you have trimmed them or not but you dont have to trim them
they can go directly into the jar
and cure
as a matter of fact
I know a lot of old school dudes that only trim there nugs when in use
as in
pull a nug , trim, smoke.......
so yeah
hope that helps

Your method has me looking like an old pro Wish. I'm gonna drop some more photos in my threads after work tonight. Thank you again for the guidance. It's so helpful that you not only give us the what, but you give us the why as well. And that's how you teach. It's one thing to know what to do. It's a whole other world to know why

And you already know as a newb we tend to overthink everything because of how much conflicting info we read.

when you make the tea....you want to make it just for that feeding

so if you need 3gal to feed all your plants ....then make 3 gal
this isnt something you want to keep around
as a matter of fact you should use this within an hour of mixing

Ohh wow, soo is there a way to mix a solo cup worth? Lol im just feeding the 2 seedlings that r n solo cups. Usually to get 15% runoff i would feed like half to 3/4 of a solocup of mix per plant.

Ugh! The new to me MH/BPS ballasts arrived from California late today... that consignment shop dude put them each in a USPS Priority cardboard ***envelope!****, with no extra padding apparently, all 3 arrived damaged, and he didn't ensure them. Who sends a piece of heavy semi-expensive electronics in an unpadded envelope, and then no insurance? Crazy.

Got the light hoods, bulbs and numerous extras from my buddy though and that gear is really nice, even better than hoped :)

Sup guys. Things are going ok, but I put my plants in too tall of pots for flood and drain. I'm going to go tomorrow and get a drip manifold and some 1/4 in tubing and hook it up that way for now. I got my two bubba girl clones and one bubba girl seedling. When they get a little taller I'm going to supercrop/bend and put the net on. Slap em down! Day 3 after flip.

Glad you're ok @Dewd !!! Don't get addicted to those pills lol.:smoking:

so ive been checking out my water situation.
it has alot of calcium oxide...... limescale, actually not bad for plants but a ro sysrems worst nightmare.
im sure it can filter it out but ill be buying filters every other month.
anybody have similar water problems?
Is there something i could do before putting it through the ro unit?

I buy mine for 25 cents/gallon but I thought those systems constantly back flushed themselves. I think that's why they waste so much water.

there are units with a "valve" but i dont think its a constant thing.
i had a guy here wanting to sell some drinking water filter. after testing our water he advised us to not buy his product. perfect mineral water just the calcite was hight. advised a "grander" some copper thing that costs thousands.
i have my own spring so waste is not a problem.

Definitely don't pay thousands lol. Better off replacing filters. Maybe they'll last longer than you think. Give it a try.
