ive been checking wat others using the canna coco range are doing. i have the coco a+b, rhizotonic, cannazyme, boost and a small bottle pk13/14 as its only needed for 1 week. ph+ "normal not pro"... its potassium hydroxide and ph- organic.... its citric acid. So im definately going to cut down on thier "light feeding plan" about 3/4 the recomended dose a+b and about 1/2 of the rest. boost i will start in flower to save $$.
a couple of things still floatin around....
is the tea and additive you guys are feeding 1/week similar to the rhizotonic and cannazyme or do i need to find this tee?
everything canna says about water advises against using ro water. grow logs i read too. they say it just causes calmag issues. ive already ordered the ro unit so im on the fence....? i havent measured my water yet as i want to calibrate ec/ph meter first....get my build done first.
wat do you think about the tap? wat sort of ppm before nutes are we looking for if using tap? could mix ro to tap to get perferred starting ppm?

I would use the canna line and not the tea we are using
as for RO
how old are these things you are reading
most people I know only use RO with canna
look up VaderOG on youtube
he is commercial seed breeder that uses Canna in a Flood and Drain with RO
that is a double no no according to Canna
but his seeds as well as his strains and his flowers are top Quality

I would suggest going to the US canna sight if you can and use that grow chart with light feed low ppm water

there might be a strain or 2 that may need an extra boost of Calmg....if you are running an OG
but usually you will be fine

Heya gang! Sorry for the absence. I have kind of been through a mini-torture gauntlet, spending the last couple days insheer misery sincemy little squid-fushing outin, most of that time bed ridden. Hopefully on the mend now, with around 7 or 8 pages to get caught up on it seems.

But first things first:
@Events:
I have only completed partial sress runs on the ballasts and here is what I have so far. All full length tests run at a 21/3 schedule btw, set at either 1000 or 1040 Watts. Also, Friday is the day I will reconfig the testing to use another hood and lamp; for this first set of test results to be meaningful I wanted to only change 1 or 2 variables per test run.

BALLAST 1:
TEST 1 (Power up /power down tests, disconnecting and reconnecting each time)
-1. Connect lamp cord to ballast 2.Connect power cord 3.Modify Watts setting if needed. 4.Record result. 5.Disconnect lamp. 6.Disconnect power cord. Note in about 1/3 of these tests I reversed the last 2 steps to identify any pattern in behavior, without success.
- Results: 1 failure ("E-04") and the other 5 suceeded.
TEST 2 (Power up /power down tests, with NO disconnecting and reconnecting each time)
- Results: 6 successes, 0 failures.
- TEST 3 (Full cycle runs, kicked off back to back (no disconnect,reconnect) when it did start fine with no E-04 code)
- Results: 2 successful runs

BALLAST 2 (worst damaged, part rolling around loose inside)
TEST 1 (Power up /power down tests, disconnecting and reconnecting each time)
-1. Connect lamp cord to ballast 2.Connect power cord 3.Modify Watts setting if needed. 4.Record result. 5.Disconnect lamp. 6.Disconnect power cord. Note in about 1/3 of these tests I reversed the last 2 steps to identify any pattern in behavior, without success.
- Results: 5 failures ("E-04") and the other 1 suceeded.
TEST 2 (Power up /power down tests, with NO disconnecting and reconnecting each time)
- Results: Partial test as the last test had such a high percentage of failures): 2 successes, 2 failures.
- TEST 3 (Full cycle runs, kicked off back to back (no disconnect,reconnect) when it did start fine with no E-04 code)
- Results: NA for now. This test was not run yet as the prior test had suchanenormously high reliability failure rate.

BALLAST 3
TEST 1 (Power up /power down tests, disconnecting and reconnecting each time)
-1. Connect lamp cord to ballast 2.Connect power cord 3.Modify Watts setting if needed. 4.Record result. 5.Disconnect lamp. 6.Disconnect power cord. Note in about 1/3 of these tests I reversed the last 2 steps to identify any pattern in behavior, without success.

TEST 2 (Power up /power down tests, with NO disconnecting and reconnecting each time)
- Results: 5 successes, 1 failure.

- Results: Kicked offround.1 tonight, second run at 1000W will conclude around 11 pm Wednesday night

Again,next round of tesggs will begin Wednesday night and another hood, socket, power cord and bulb will be used to test the 3 ballasts again.

Well cold does induce the plant to finish out, but i agree there is no purp like pheno purp..
How ever in my neck of the woods, my purp Urkles Girl was the first purple bud I ever seen and the first anybody else here had seen in person.. And its desired! So if I can get top dollar just for purp, guess what im gonna grow..
As for the cookie glue she coming along nicely... I hope it has some purp, or im gonna have to cross it with some!

Soo we thinking at 79/80° at 75% we will be good but once we bump it to 100% im probably gonna have to invest in another fan to get more xool air flowing in correct? What was that fan you was thinking i may need?

Im running the exact same setup as you..
With good temps at 400..
But i run my lights at night when its cooler.
I put my house temps at 67 bed time and it runs the tent about 78....

Because i had a guy buy 3 ballast off you and 1 just throws error codes and the other 2 are dented and have loose hood cords coming out. He tried working with you and you blew him off. I recommend ebay sellers for all my website members that need equipment. So not only am i seeing your business approach but so is over 200 members.. You take care of him on the ballast and i eill erase everything about you and that has your name on it. And you didnt refund me nothing... I didnt even complain about my ballast to you. I just fixed it myself...

Well you havent returned his messages nor mine, so im gonna contact Ebay as well as Pay pal, to start return procedures on money back guarantee policy. We gave you a chance to rectify the situation. One is now throwing error codes, so its junk.. the other 2 need taken apart and the ballast cord tightened. And 1 has something rattling around in it.. Most likely half the damage was in shipping because you stuck it in an envelope... Smh...
Anyway in the morning we start the process to get his refunds..and we make sure you never sell another thing on Ebay again...

your test makes no sense to me
you are connecting ballast to lamp then plugging ballast in and adjusting wattage.....wrong

you are supposed to plug everything together then plugging the ballast in to either a timer or power strip
adjust the wattage then flip the power strip on or timer on
your ballast that has something rattling I wouldnt risk it
but the other 2 ....if the cord is loose I would get a new cord and retry
