Hey wish, is it hard to grow those pepper? I wouldnt mind growing some reapers just to sell to friends n fam ohh n obviously a lil cover upish. Haha what else kind of edible plants cpuld i grow w my setup?
reapers are kinda hard to grow...I feel honestly you need to be a seasoned pepper grower to be able to grow these

not to knock you...you could try if you want....but these types are super finicky and if you don't have a good grasp of what a pepper wants you will have a tough time
def not like growin cannabis

as per your system.....you can literally grow anything
from lettuce to tomatoes...all work well in a hydro type system

realstyles runs all sorts i think hes got chilled fixtures too. have chitchat with him. knows heaps of led stuff
I don't think he runs chilled

I know he has built a few quantum boards
but he is mostly COB's

Six strings and I know plenty

there are others on here that have been in the LED game for a while who know there stuff as well

I am a member on a few other grow sights...RIU is where it is at if you want to know anything about LED IMO

Awesome. Maby ill start with some tomatoes n maby some little chili pepps or somthing. Can we feed these w the same cns17 line and +life n bio
yes...I feed all my plants CNS17 except for my Orange Trees in Planters.....they get GH Maxigrow powder with a dash of GH Dry Koolbloom

but my tomatoes/peppers/lettuce/basil...etc....all get the CNS treatment

peppers/basil get 14ml per gal
tomatoes get 25ml per gal
lettuce 12ml per gal

maybe...I don't follow him
I just know him from conversations we have had over the years...on both sights

I personally would get chilled over anything else if I had the money....def over COB's but I have cobs so i put them to work

wisher wat lighting you running?

are u running the herbs... veges indoors? we completely live off our garden in the sommer, sourcing the meat and dairy from the community. i think its awsome. winter fucks me tho. been thinking of trying something under my hps for fun.

i looked at them i just dont think they are that much better than cobs considering the price. no big fancy comercial glasshouses here or id go do a snatchnrun :ninja:

Are there some sorces for basic vegetable seeds for indoor gows that are bettrr than others? Say lettuce, carrots, maybe cukes, maybe a tomato or two? Would love to kick off a couple blueberry plants and some strawberries that we could transplant to the garden in spring!

For my shitty first 1.5 weeks of flowering they seem to be doing well, and frosty as hell
Gorilla Glue #5(CO)
Plus I just transplanted 6 more gorilla glue, 3 Chemdog 91, also CO. And 1 LA AFFY
Finally received my guardian blue lab meter.
I was off on pH probably this whole grow if not two :/ great investment I must say

blueberries like the only thing i havent been able to do properly  think im in the wrong place

Yeah, in a pinch on thosd I could try bringing a couple inside that I got from the mountains this fall.

We have about a half dozen plants now, 3 diff types of blueberries, and would like to double the plant count in the yard.

Blueberries grow like crazy up here. The only way I get them to grow properly is if I use the soil from where I got it from. Or for some odd ass reason they don't last. Sandy Sandy soil is what they like.

would have to def disagree on that one

those make COB's look like a joke comparatively IMO and I run cobs 3590's at 2100mA to be exact
of course that is just my opinion
but numbers to the canopy dont lie

blueberry bushes are very hard to grow and you need at least 3 years to actually harvest something good
strawberries are probably the easiest to grow hydroponically
as for seeds
I always go organic
either local seeds or from something like Baker creek

Fascinating. The valley where I got mine has literally thousands and the soil thrrre is an odd mix of small rocks and seep spring rich, dark soil.
Diff varieties maybe?

I had guessed that on the soil and brought them home in buckets with lots of their native soil.

I am quite curious if it is possible to take clones from them.

Safe to assume strawberries, lettuce and such would grow fine in that Sunshine soil-less medium I have, Wisher? Was thinking under some extra flouros on a back bench in the shop or a spare corner by the sink in the grow room...help convince my wife on expenses, lol ;)

Im guessing they like alot of drainage maybe? I'm in the u.p. of michigan and if there is sand, there are blueberries lol. My friend had blueberries plant he got from the beach. But he didn't clone them per se. He just took a branch that was rooted into the soil and mad e a new plant out of that. So I'm not sure if that's classified as cloning?
