yeah i have not spent much thought on your medium.. iv read but you know just cataloged it for later date which will require reading to wake up the thoughts heh. also im more of a hands on type of chick.. so you know, until i do it im just talking shit..

but from a logic point of view yo, if the plant gets oxygen from the h20, you would be starving your plants of a much needed thing hah. we all need it so maybe i should pick a better word. hah.

anyhow. sorry for the morning ramblings.

Yeah idk, it just seems really reaallyy dry like half the time now n i know b4 they said cocco dont need to be dry. Also @EventHorizan or @Wisher619 a few of the leaves are deff starting to get sone yellow tips. Not bad at all, very slight but there

Mine raises like that over a day or so. I can mix it 5.8 and in the morning it will be 5.9 and when i get home that evening be 6.0. I just add a lil ph down when needed. Only takes like 2 drops

i had the ph go up last mix too. but the cloudiness wasnt there.

yesterday i could see the lil bit of sediment at the bottom clear now its sort of murky. slight build of bubbles wen i mix it around.
only the cannazym is different. and its normal strength, last was 1/4.

hmm could it be calcium....too much and its binding the sulphur.?
does cloudy mean fukt?
you guys dont let ur tea sit for days, u use it straight away, so maybe the cannazym...? im stumped.

Studs that is the beenies.. Im gonna change how you feed. As in dont add the stuff i told you to your res.. Add it to the plants.. Always leave the res with just base for now.. Your a newb..
And always always wait for me or wisher to answer your questions. Some other guys might not quite realize what i want u to doo.. Brb in an hr..

I don't like to let my nutes sit around. I make only what I can use at the moment. I have put it in the fridge which makes it keep, but then you have to let it warm up before using it. It sucks to have to mix daily, but I don't like using nutes that have gone cloudy. They usually smell funky when they get like that too. Thats just for my small veg plants. Of course my res (flower chamber) is different since it is bigger and gets recirculated and oxygenated.

Ya guys never put anything organic like tea,enzymes etc. in the res. Your ph will get way out of whack as they bloom.And if your using something like flora nova you are just asking for trouble.
A good mineral base and boosters will do fine in the res for up to a week. I usually go about 5 days. Then I add my organic inputs 1-2 times a week through a pump and hose

instead of adding ph down what i usually do is add a bit more cns17 to bring the ph down then i add fresh water to bring the ppm down as well and just dont add silica blast..

most common advice is airstones n h202.

i figure the cannazym is creating the problem.
i could do tea days with it like u guys.
wat i dont get it the canna chart tells u to mix all these things together. even if i put in 1000L res.
im gunna go raise up on thier canna.com forum..
see wat they say too

I gotcha, we can do that no prob but jw, is there a reason we try to avoid the ph down? Its literally soo easy only take like 2 drops frm the dropper n a good stir n im right back at 5.8 and the 2 drops dont change the ppm at all?

i would not use either of those IMO.. If your trying to make your nutrients not go stale what you'd want to do is get a small 100gph pump and just plop it in the water (no hoses necessary) and have it turn on for 15 minutes once or twice a day....

I stir my res with a 14" piece of 1/4" piece of tubing once a day..

I know what you mean haha.. Iono im just OCD and i figure since im adding silica for teh PH up i dont really want to ph down it.. One of my rules for when i was running deep water culture is you dont want to overshoot the ph because you really dont want to add ph up & ph down to the same res... It might matter less than i think though..

I only do this if the PH goes out of range though.. so if it goes 1.6EC 5.8ph to 1.6EC 6.0ph i won't adjust until 6.1-6.3.. if it dips below 5.8 ill add a tiny bit of silica blast to bring it back up...
