so the reason why it would smell that way would be that IMO you didnt flush very wellMay be giving those a shot, where I really fukt up last time was my drying/curing process. Was good smoke, but smell left a looooot to be desired. They smelled like fruity pebbles in prior to cut and after they never got out of the good ol drying hay/chlorophyll smell. Even to this day they never got much better.
see I used to think it was from drying to fast
but
not really the case
I just dried this last batch in 4 days because the fuckin humidity was @ 10%
and there is no hay smell
but there were a few that had that hayish smell
it was the few water leaves still on the stem
plucked them off and away it went
that means that when you flush
you wanna flush intil the discoloration hits the tips of the sugar leaves
if you break the chlorophyll down in the plant before you chop there wont be any wet grass chlorophyll once hanging and drying
and I presume it has to do with Heavy Nitrogen
also
I dry my plants until you can pop a bud off with your hand
no bendy shit to cutting with scissors
I dry trim
my first trim is literally by hand
throw the gloves on
all leaves wheather sugar or otherwise just come off
if I dont want to trim the sugar leaves off
I just snip with scissors the longer sugar leaves to uncover the bud slightly and I remove any remaining water leaves
I will post a pic of both types in a minute
