im looking 4 a strong strain that stays short, and turns 90-100% purple and where 2 order the beans from. i know the strains are out there i just cant find them, i know theres a few people on this site that can point me in the right direction, THANKS ALL!!!!!

Purple Indica is a good one. I dont know where to get it tho, in seed form that is.

Outlaw genetics has DPD f3 (double purple doja) and all of mine had turned purple. He is remaking some of these and hopes to have some done in the future. Great smoke and you can get them here on the farm

I dont know how short it stays, but sannie's killing fields looks like it has some purple pheno's to it.

the blackberry from cali i have turns purple from the center regardless of temps...its deff a genetic purple......other than that grape ape urkle and grandaddy will all do it as well......lets see what else p haze will, flo will just find the correct pheno.....but that bb is the most purple ever it almost turns a burgundy color if u let it go....the color seems to breed thru as well......i did a s1/fem cross of it to deep chunk, katsu bubba and unknown indica, c99 x haze, and a few other's its a mixed bag of nuts....maybe i will send some freebies in they are a little old but i got a grip of them......supa perps...

ahhhh i mean thats a pretty broad comment if they are a genetic purple then yes usually true........

.but cold snaps will turn almost anything purple and in that case no....... there is a middle ground like say grandaddy as far as color and potency..........but iv smoked purple thai that was crazy stoopid strong.. just depends on what yer talking about genetic or environmental/cold purple coloration............that blackberry im talking about is weak as fuck......but still real nice

i like the real grape ape best ...most people got gdp or mendo purps and think its the grapes......................."me like the real grapes bruh"............thats what some kid told me smokin weed on the bart train ahahahah........... my mom had a true purp in the 70's it was purple from sprout even the first leaves.....was so different........mom why didnt u make some seeds ??? lol.....i agree with velvet on the potency .

gotcha, for a second I thought you were carving your personal opinion into stone. Yeah Ive heard the genetic purple trait does carry lower thc levels...but damn ive had some great dark purple strains like urkle, Grape X' of course GDP and Purps... they were in no way low in thc

hey purpleblockhead if you already have the GDP and the purps you are doing pretty good. Trust us, trust me when you only want the colors you are being shortsighted. But I would recommend sannie's killing fields or jackberry they seem to reliably turn colors. I already told you too I will hook you up with GDP x blockhead and blockhead f2 whether we have to meet at a med club or send them to logic to dispense with as samples.

just to clarify "Da Purps" from BC is a different strain than the original Purps. Two strains that I have grown that are 100% purple from the first calyx would be The Purps and Purple #1... Perhaps I got wack genes or bad phenos (club cuts... G-d bless the farm!), but both were pretty weak and got phased out on the first run... nevertheless they were very purple and grape smelling...

However... SR71 PK was in my stable for over a year... but now thanks to a special breeder im going to search ever so hard for a bomb ass PURPLE BUBBLEGUM pheno! :icon_spin:

dont really feel like the pk is that heavy either just my opinion. i had all of them one pk from sebastapol one from sonoma in the 90's and the last one was from sick wit it records still not that heavy... have lived up and down the west coast and spent 10 years in the bay i just dont think they are that strong . just me.................strength is not the only aspect im judge'n em on. so i love em...but they all have their place in my opinion. even if just for breeding. blackberry and some african strains will turn almost black.......have fun kids. "red is the new purple"....much love and respect for everyone's opinion on the matter ....people love ther purpz......good luck in finding what you want OP its out there.....:damnhippie:

find good genetics, not run of the mill commercial crap.

also dont listen to those that have "HEARD or READ"about anything, cause they dont have a clue wtf there talkin about, get info from peeps that have some actual experience, in other words have years and years of growin experience behind them, been thru some fuckin plants.

thanks all!!!!!!! i do have the top purple in the bay kens gdp a real cut, i have purple wreck and purple hard ball 2, all 3 turn a very nice purple but not solid purple, im just looking for something different ive seen pics on this site that are solid purple and it looks great, if show up with some solid purp tree in bay area clubs im going 2 get top dollar, purple is a fad in the bay, its crazy!!! all alot of people want is purple, ive heard people say if it aint purple they aint smoking, i had blockhead the tops turned soild purple but bottoms just had purple veins

fractal see you in a couple, im going 2 put you a couple cuts of each away now, so they got alot of new growth

i've been able to get most purple genetics to turn deep deep purple by hanging the whole plant when drying. its pretty amazing the difference . even the popcorn nugglets got completely purple
