for coco that is what I want
once they go rootbound
you start multiple feedings per day
that is when they go nuts
then the roots completely fill up the coco and eat it away until it is a block of roots
and you basically treat it like pure hydro
drip 10sec or so 1x an hour every hour while lights on
that is when the plants get buck wild

For sure, when you're feeding rootbound is not an issue cause it don't have a life long enough for it too be truly rootbound... hell no cannabis does! But you'll see many plants that do!? My favorite part is how they say when roots come out drainage holes its rootbound... I'm like ok! But In reality it takes years to become rootbound! But your version of rootbound is correct In a sense cause it focuses on your feed but most that say rootbound have no idea.
If your plant was rootbound it would be dead! Being rootbound means that it is rootbound, correct? Rootbound is the root strangles the plant.

Wisher is correct with his example though, cause it translate to what people understand

I agree
people use "rootbound" holding a differ meaning other than what it actually means

my roots keep going....stretching out the hole and onto the tray...meaning that they are still going not rootbound
roots will find a way

It's kinda funny how we have to adjust meanings to adapt vs people's knowledge.

I always try to give an explanation when I teach a technique or explain why I want them to do something a certain way
to me without the explanation as to why this or that works or why you do this or that....or not....without reason it would be robotic and completely non human
I always strive for people to think...get that mind hummin....the old gears turning....I think it makes people more alive when their mind has something to work on
