are you talkin wet weight? im just not seeing 1# plants in your posts unless your holdin back to good stuff ?
I'll post better pics, those are for size reference. The main cola is 2 feet long and about 4 inches thick. The lower branches are not far off from that. It's difficult to see but those bottoms are plants on their own. But these are still babies to my main grow trees. I grow them 6ft+. One plant easily matches the weight of 4 in a sea of green. Another easily overlooked part of my yield is leaf to calx ratio. If you compare our grows, you'll notice I am mostly bud and few foliage. The light penetration is unreal. All branches become tops

cool, can you grab a pic of a bic lighter next to the stakes holding up those plants, for size ref? just wanna add, theres lots of very experienced growers here, its not like none of us know what a pound looks like or how to judge an expected outcome looking at a crop.granted nobody can tell how desnse a bud really is from pics, but we can make very educated guesses from close ups.usually plants leaning towards sativas will be a bit lighter and wispy

That's not sat, it's a rainbow kush. Lights in that room are dark until 7pm pst. I'll take the lighter pic and post it tonight.

Ultimately the only reason I call the weight is due to previous harvests of the same strain, same room. It was hard for me to accept the inflated yields but having no popcorn nugs, extra grow space produce huge buds under what would be a canopy in a sea of green. I'll take pics of the sfogs on the other side, they are mother fucking ridiculous weight

my plants look like that and i only get a quater pound per plant dry and cured..your plants look great tho
It's hard to conceptualize a picture. I think you have a good idea with the lighter pic. That should give the plant a bit more ratio characteristics. I'll post it right at lights on.

My goal isn't maximizing absolute yield, or fiscal efficiency. I'm not trying to build an empire or get rich.

I do this because I love this plant, it's been with me through most my life and given me more joy and relief than I can measure.

I grow it to witness it's magic. If I yielded 1oz a plant it wouldn't concern me. I've been rewarded yes, but it is not by trumping my fellow gardening comrades and fighting to throw "I'm better then you"'s at them.

It's the cannabis which rewarded me.

how do you change leaves?? Maybe you mean change the lights from veg to flower I hope that's what is meant

I just unplug the veg leaves & plug in the flower leaves... I put a splitter too so I can add three times as many flower leaves resulting in an exponential increase in yield & efficiency... still tho the best addition to my room for weight by far was a flux capacitor on a recycle timer :)

Im wondering if top shelf means the same thing to all of us..
My peeps dont want that airy shit on the bottom...
Them plants 5 foot with buds at the bottom..
Hash pile shouldnt be counted....

Imo

That's all for butter around here and never gets binned or counted.thing is some guys would cut the top 2 feet off that plant, trim a few of the biggest fans off and dry it on the stem then weigh the whole damn thing like hey look at my 4oz bud when 2 oz is all stems haha.different strokes fer different folks fa sho :)

Right... haha.. I think I did that my 2 first harvest... Now stripped and every nugget cleaned.. My boy got on me about 4 harvest back, cause I was getting a lil lazy on the trimming, lol
That is why I usually grow scrog..
Last trim, I had less than 2 zips of hash pile offerings..
