i did red pontiac and yukon gold,both determent plants,once the green surface you dont keep adding dirt to these,indeterment you add dirt over the plant when they get about 6in tall,bury all but a inch and keep going,only thing about them is they just keep producing till the plant starts to flower and can run all threw spring and summer,i got the determent so i can plant my sweet potato's about middle of may when these potato be done,,so i got 4 rows 12 ft long of red onions bulbs 2 rows 12ft long of garlic and i still have 36 red bulb in the dome and about 50 1015 onions from seed,,you ever try the 1015 ? they are white and you can eat them like a apple ,there sweet,discovered here about 20 years ago and were so good ,that down at the border and the valley thats all they grow,next month corn ,melons ,cucumbers,tomato,all flowers and comfrey go in,,all the flowers im growing are for bugs about 9 difrent vareity,,i made a edge around my fence for them and the comfrey,,check it out went and checked that place out today,all the wood chips and mulch i want free,only kick is cant leave the premisis without tarping,i can do that hahahah
