Yea it’s not that hot even at 135, I turned mine down just a bit as well.. ridiculously bright.

So excited, says my new light was delivered.. Got my new dab nail yesterday too which looks awesome (joel halen honey hole) but haven't been able to try it yet cause ive been so sick.. Pretty crazy I guess close to 30 people under age of 65 have died in cali from the flu this year..

I've had it for about 6 days now. I think I'm getting better now, but this was a bad one. I almost never get sick but this one got me good. Can't hardly sleep, constant sweats and chills at night. The good thing is I quit smoking cigs. Lungs cant handle it. Bad thing is I can't smoke weed either. :speechless:

I think I've got the GH PH indicator drops down now. I have a decent meter, but if it ever breaks I may just go with the drops. What I did was calibrate my meter and after getting my feed to 5.8, check it with the drops. You get used to the color you see as soon as a drop hits the water. Once you get used to that color it's easy. Plus once you get used to your feed you already know what to put in it to be super close or even right on. Not to say those blue labs aren't cool though.

I thought about just getting some fish tank strips. My problem with stuff like that is you can get an idea of what the pH is but accuracy isnt quite there. Reading a number and seeing what color something is are a little different

I agree, but if you already have the kit then it's good to learn to use it and get used to the color you want it to turn. The other day I was thinking my meter might be off because it was having me add more acid than usual so I did a quick test with the drops to make sure. The meter needed calibration.

I mean I got some of that stuff with my pH up/down. I just don't see it has a practical everyday type thing personally

I got the idea by watching some old vader og videos. He was using only that little kit and seemed confident in it. I do like my ph meter though.

Great idea on the smartphone thing. Maybe just an app to download and a probe that plugs into the headphone jack. You could make millions. Sell the idea to blue lab.

wouldn't work for iphone then lol. Would have to plug into the charging port as that's where information transfer is possible ;)

Or I guess could just go purely bluetooth.
