You should start with Durban Poison or Tangie, then work your way down through their offspring till you find something that suits your needs. Girl Scout Cookies and Dosido are Durban babies, and the Forbidden Fruit I'm lovin right now is a Tangie baby. Gorilla Glue #4 and TrainWreck are also strong on the sativa side, and common as well.
I'm not knocking Tahoe at all. The only reason I found this out was because I was researching strains to grow trees and Tahoe OG is a strain that can do it. I was told it was upper-mids by a guy that was growing them so obviously he had no problem with it.
Like I said earlier, the complexity of the strain's THC compounds are of far more interest to me, ie, Durban Poison doesnt usually have a particularly strong THC level but what it generally does have is extremely high THCv. THCv enhances THC's potency, and as a bonus, it's a munchi inhibitor.
