I was recently told the reason my plants arent growing as strong as they should is because I used potting mix (lots of wood chips) instead of a well draining soil.
I just started week 2 of the bloom stage, can I still repot my plans with minimal stress?

As a general rule you don’t want to be transplanting plants in flower. However, if you think it’s necessary you can do it. But I have a feeling your plants are not going to like it.

if u are nervous about it then give some compost tea to them after u transplant.. if it was week 6or 7 i would say dont do it . but 2 weeks in u are fine

I wouldn’t transplant them at this point due to the fact that you should avoid shocking them. Instead, you could always just double pot them. The roots will grow through the bottom holes of your smaller pots and continue growth into the bottom/larger pots.

Look into Air Pots

Among ther many features, if you get several sizes transplant sshock is virtually non existent. Simply open the smaller, place into the larger AP, lock it, then side fill

If you’re in a situation where transplanting is neccessary the root structure will be pretty strong. You should be able to get the entire clump out in one piece carefully= no root damage no shock. Make sure your added soil is equivilent in ph and all. Do not use a pre fertilized soil to add. And like said above little compost tea or worm casting tea weak you’ll be good. Just take your time at it. I’d just add clean peat moss and perelite mix n continue your feeds as normal after transplant.

Repotting your plants is always stressful. In short ,YES. I would start over.If you are making your own compost grass clippings of any type are a good base for starting a compost pile . Leftover vegetables, bones, and wood ashes , coffee grounds, ect.Collect these items starting now and you'll be ready for next year. Sorry but you may be SOL at this point. All I can tell you is don't transplant ,since wood chips have natural accurring acids such as tanic acid, keep soil pH in check.treat for fungal disease,Fungus Gnats may also be present in moist soil . Please don't over water me ,is what your plant seems to be saying.Water less frequently. As long as the first inch or two is moist you don't need to water.I know from years of growing that you probably can't wait for the bounty that is potentially in front of you.Slow down and take the time to know your plant it will tell you what it's needs are.Hope this is helpful Chewy . Let me know how things turn out.
