Just FIMed for the first time, I had previously called bullshit on this.

Oh! my giddy aunt, I FIMed five plants, one I fucked up and just topped it, Fuck I Hit (so I'll have to top again just before I put in flower tent next week), the other four :speechless:, two fours a five and a six brancher :cool:.

Anyway as I have always said as an ardent supporter of FIMing, it's better than topping :D

Edit: It appears that lower branch production is increased also, or enhanced (compared to the one I topped) but can't say for sure as it may be strain dependent.

I agree its better.and fimming and topping should both make bottom catch up to top a bit..my opinion its because of the healing time required from your top or fim(usualy 3-5 days)have you tried lst @Fecund Loinno recover time and u get same results.can twist,bend,contort in any shape u want

Yeah I had a pineapple cheese that bolted, i just cropped and it was a queer old shape, the main stems had about three enforced 90deg bends.

FIM is actually an acronym for " Fuck, I messed up" sounds like it all worked out. I do it every time to my plants, if it works cool but no biggie

Its fuck i missed my buddy did it last year.. If you fim a bud...then it grows three colas...then it doesnt get enough air..then it gets bud rot...then you fim fucked the whole bud hahaha
