Chubs Nug Farm - 2nd Grow

Few obsevations on the strains I have growing. BlueBerry headband is awesome when topped. Almost all the budsights are exactly the same height, no scrog, no LST. Maybe I lucked out. Also, this one needs to be proped up, very lanky looking. Had to use 8 stakes evenly spaced around the pot to tie down each bud. Without that support this early, I think they would have collapsed.

Growing 2 Crimea Blue from Barneys. Both are different phenotypes. The branch structure of the plant seems to be the same, similar internodal spacing, same height and rate of growth. But the leaves are very different.

Question for all the Ganja Guru’s: If the same strain has different phenotypes, will the effect be the same? I have no idea what pheno I had way back in the day at Barny’s coffee shop, but man it would be great to have it again.

From my experience every plant has different effects,they may be subtle and very similar for the most part but harvest time and amount of time they have been curing can change this over time as well.

So the weather has been great, no need for AC until now. Almost 4 weeks into flower, so made it as far as I could with just an intake fan.

Turned the AC on today, now dialing in the right set temp for the day. The vent is low and blasts 2 plants in corner. No bueno. I made a vent out of cardboard to direct the air up and into a fan that moves air around.

Started using crystal burst PK boost last water. Just got in G10, will be adding that to next water through week 7.

Canopy temp hovers around 79-83. Using an IR meter to read leaf surface temp. Reads 80-84 Soil temp reads 67 at surface. These gals are happy

Hey guys, checkin in. We are at 5 weeks.

Leaves are curling a bit on this one. Think its a nitrogen problem. I gave them a bit of veg nutes along with flower. This plant is not digging it. Going to dial the nutes back a little.

Purple orange CBD. The hairs are brown already? Not sure if this is normal. Only plant with this. Any suggestions guys?

Crimea blue. These 2 plants are the bullies of the growroom. Towering above the rest. Strange part about this, is that this strain is known for its short stature. I topped these at the 7th node, instead of the 5/6th.

Blue cheese. Not incredibly cheesy yet, hope that changes. Had a skunky smell so far.

Heres the blueberry headband. Lots of even colas, not too big though. Hoping it fattens up.

Before the lights went on this morning. Looking like they are fatening up. Into week 5.

Removed maybe 5 leaves off each plant. Large fans covering hidden bud sites. Hoping that 3 weeks is enough time to fatten these up.

Right about the 6 week mark. Plants continue to fatten up.

All plants look good, except one of the 2 purple Orange CBD.

2 of the 6 colas have burn. Does this look like nute or light burn? Have been using half strength nutes since the beginning.

The LED is at 27” from canopy. Heres a par chart at around that distance. Somewhere around 1200 par at center. This strain is 1.5 feet from center, 700 par maybe.

What do you guys think? For this plant , should I switch to water for the rest of the grow?
