New guy here, in Cali. Indoor grower. Been growing for about 2 1/5 years with a partner that’s been growing for 8+. Partner always had small ops. 6 lights or less. Together we are running 44 HPS indoor lights, 1,000 watt, soil, 5 pots a light. Yielding 1.7 - 1.9 per.

Figured it was time to sign up and use the search button. Lots of info here. Hope to gain more and give back to the community if i can. Happy toking

Me about 88 strains, commercially, personally, 2 , J1 and OG kush. And 4 Breeds I’m messing with, Fijian landrace sativa, crossing with golden goat. Back crossing with haze, then back to landrace and forward with og kush. Trying to get to a true 50/50 with higher cbd. 2 yrs into it and looks good but not ready to say it’s there.
Otherwise my fav smoker is blueberry

Welcome to the farm Drew!

What strains are you guys currently growing?
Thank you, glad to be here.

Our room has 4 rows and my partner started me with blue dream a year ago as part of the learning process. It’s a good yielder and pretty resilient to over watering and feeding during my trial. I’ve nailed it down pretty well. That came down 6 weeks ago and I’m now growing WIFI, much different than blue dream, long stretch, drinks much more water than the BD and is a little more sensitive to stress. Partner is growing King Louis. Just these two for now.

Due to security, our location isn’t the best. We have 4 rows, all two weeks apart. Two rows are 13 lights, and the other 2 are 9. Room shape is off which gives us hot spots, and improper air circulation. But i think we’ve done well given the situation. We’ve got a minor PM problem but we keep it in check. Our ceiling height is also an issue. 7 ft total. Which means we don’t have proper draining and have to vacuum the excess water out after every feeding........ yeah. It sucks!

You gotta work with what you've got right!?

Blue dream is a great strain its been a while since Ive run it. What are you doing to control the PM? I've had plenty a nights getting myself acquainted with a shop vac so I feels ya there!!!

We’ve been using Green Cleaner as a foliage spray. We spray once a week depending on how bad it is. It’s helos with controlling it but not getting rid of it.

I’m playing with some ideas on air movement and humidity fluctuations. Currently our RH bounces between 65/45 Night & day respectively. And i feel that the RH fluctuation is what’ preventing us from getting rid of it. 2ndly, we’ve noticed the PM is only accumulating under the canopy where we don’t have much air flow. We’re going to buy a couple desk clamp fans and clamp them to the pvc and see if that helps.

I’d really like to get away from spraying all together though. I feel like it’s hindering our yield.

Can you get sm90 in your area? Green cleaner doesn’t do anything for pm.
Or use hydrogen peroxide, works well, but not too late into flower

I use uv light for under canopy light once a week and haven’t seen any pm return, I’m at about 60ish humidity 24/7, I’m on the coast. I usually drop a dehumidifier during late flower to lower that to 40 but the uv light and sm 90 has pm gone in my greenhouse

Pic is 3weeks ago when I did a massive train and defoliation, pm control and to train, reveg.
2nd pic is on Monday , healthy and filled out

See that 4ft light with uv t5 bulbs. I run that once a week for 4 hrs during day. Helps keep things sterile and the canopy loves that extra boost

Nice looking ladies!

I’ve tried hydrogen peroxide, helped for a few days but came back. green Cleaner last longer. Haven’t heard of sm90 but I’ll definitly take a look. Are you using it as a foliage spray or mixing with feedings?

Foliar spray and it’s a great wetting agent as well

For me over the years, if I started to get PM I try to keep my nighttime temps higher, above 72, and that seems to do the trick. Higher humidity doesn’t affect it as much, but mold likes the cold.
Welcome

Night temps are 73-74. Day 85-87
