Welcome to my grow everyone,
I am starting this thread to keep an organized diary for my grow. I am going to go with 4 clones. 2 NL from Sensi and 2 Dinachem from Dinafem.
I have grown their parents and harvested. They are drying at the moment. NL weighs 100gr dry and Dinachem is 150gr wet. I had some mistakes and problems first time around, especially with the Dinachem. This time i want to see if i can make things go even more smoothly.
I will be using the same soil mix from my previous grow. https://www.thcfarmer.com/community/threads/1st-documented-grow.95662/
Actually it is the same soil. Ideally i should have cooked it with fertilizers and teas for a month or two but i wanted to get them into bigger pots asap, as they were getting rootbound constantly even with root pruning like crazy (really, everytime, i only left a little knob and in 2 weeks, symptoms of rootbound) and i wanted to see if it would affect the growth or not.
Everything is same with the first grow except the lights that i put together with a back breaking diy project :) and the cheap drip irrigation system which i will be upgrading next grow.
Now that there is a 100gr yield per plant is established for NL, i want to go even higher and 40-50 gr of Dinachem, should move towards 100gr too, tho probably my lights will be the limiting factor in this case.
I have a fixture with 4 pcb boards with 24 leds each and each board is running at 65 watts (i call it 60). 1 170w cob in the middle of the boards that is running at 100watts. And 2 strips of grow lights that runs at 88watts (just call it 80). Not saying it is not possible to reach my goals of 100+ for NL and 80-100 gr for Dinachem, but i need to get nearly 1 gr/w and i am sure i will screw up somewhere along the way :)
Well i will be posting as much as i can.
Here they are yesterday (just planted and went under their new sun)
Second time around

They are doing well now
The ones at the back are the NLs the ones at front DCs.

what do you use for the root's ? (great White, mychroizza , ect ?)
Well i make teas and my soil is very rich, especially good wormcasting and they seem to love it when they were in their little pots, 1 liter or so, they were just getting rootbound constantly.
Since i use the same soil from my prior grow all the mycorrhizae is in there already. I used great white in my previous grow so i am probably not going to, this grow. Will give a good tea tho in a couple of days.
Also did a little supercropping yesterday,

Will post some new pics when i get off my lazy bum :) they are already back up facing the lights now.

Those are some extremely bushy plants you got there. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen plants that bushy at that height. Almost looks like bonsai. Haha. Those stalks are super thick. Kudos.
Thanks, miracles of reveg :) I topped them multiple times when they were revegging to keep them short and not to get that reveggin lankness. It seems like it worked too :) then i did a good defoliation of the single bladed leaves just before the transplant. These picks are actually like 3-4 days after a hard defoliation, they were super-duper bushy :D

Here they are, i think they look good. Did a couple of sprays for bugs and fungus because i will be away for 10 days and i don’t want to return to a mess.
One dose of neem and one dose of something called amanitha also some other thing with potassium in it, it supposedly thickens cell walls or something to prevent pests from going to town on your plants.

Also covered the soil with clay pebbles with the hopes of distributing water more evenly by keeping the moisture locked in for longer.
Mulch would have been better because it is lighter, so less compaction but i had clay pebbles. Maybe next time i will go for mulch.

Hey man another good one from you!!fyi those pebbles will retain heat in soil, and may cause spikes in humidity, go with mulch once u get back from trip. But I also love those reveg clones! That’s all we ever do . Monster crop them b’s!

Really? Thanks for the tip man, appreciate it, i will look into it once i am back. But i am in smart pots, they breathe well, do you think that it will still cause a problem?
Yeah this is my first monstercropping and yeah it is niceee :)

Soil bacterial (the herd) they as part of normal decomposition release heat, having an impermeable surface (clay) traps the heat, moisture and may cause issues. I’ve had a bad experience once using the same media. Go with natural organic mulch. But it won’t hurt it for a few weeks. Enjoy the trip bud

Now above everything else i am really happy with the growth i see.
The problem is both NLs are showing magnesium and nitrogen deficiency. Their soil was rich as hell but also they have more than quadrupled in height in the last 10 days, will do a half strenght feed today and see how it goes.
Also there are brown spots on both NL and DC but it is at the leaves facing the fan directly so i am thinking wind burn.
Other than that, DC looks well and happy and thats why i am thinking deficiency about both NLs.
They have been getting plain water for 10 days at 6.8 ph.
