Hey Farmers, hope everyone is well.

So, as the title says i have a new tent. Its a cute little tent purely for seeds, clones and maybe a baby mumma..

I'm after some input from those of you with more experiance than i (zilch).

Tent size : W=1.6ft X L=1.6ft X H=3.2ft

So questions are: What lighting would you use and why?
What ventilation/airflow system would you use and why?
Anything else im missing or should be including.?

Cheers

Have that same tent dimensions, I use it for clones. Lemme grabs pic and show u what I did.
Basically a cloner. Led light. Small fan to keep air moving. Timer when I go to diff times but for now it’s 24/0.
Small heater for winter.
Heating pad when I when I don’t use the oxycloner.
It’s very basic and table top. Setting up another tommorow to keep clones before they are ready for the greenhouse

Some follow up pics
Light , 19w full spectrum led. About 2’ high
Fan, 3w desktop type usb fan
Vents open on all sides, with turret vents open for cord

Some og monster crop clones rooting , about -9days, one water change at 7days, ph is 6.1 tap water with some spring water.
Clonex gel initially used but with water change all I added was vitamin B1, 1ml to 1.75 gals of water. Did Check my incoming water ppm, hard water, 340ppm, addition of B1 didn’t change it a bit but ph went to a comfortable 5.8. Staying about there for now. I figure another 5days and this batch is ready for potting.

Haha yes! I knew someone on the farm would have one the same or similar.

I was thinking of using a fluro or twin fluro T5 but equally considering led with all the new tech now, surely a quality brand led for a tent that size wouldn't hurt the wallet to badly..? Just unsure of brands at the moment.
Was originally thinking of using a computer fan for airflow myself..

Holy shit Jack that set up is amazing. I need to look into a rack system like that.!
Not even joking i was actually looking at a greenhouse yesterday and thought it'd be a perfect transition from the small tent once they are rooted to give me time if needed. Brilliant

Here is my 2x4x7 tent that I was using before. And greenhouse .
And pic of what I harvested this spring, the winter or fall harvest is still coming along. True og, golden goat. And that’s blueberry I’m holding like a bouquet.at my larger grow.
Smaller greenhouse is my R&D breeding and experimenting setup at home while I grow larger scale at a commercial greenhouse

Aye, u can use a small t5 without issues , and a small fan is about all you need. Now if u tried to do a flower wheres I would suggest a bigger fan ,maybe setup outside pulling air in through the tent.
And led is cheaper now and performance wise it’s getting very close to hps/mhs. But watt per gram, nothing beats the good ol mh.
That rack was like $14 at my local hardware store mate. But in the us with deregulation in California, options have been better then before and cheaper of course.
Cheers mate and keep us abreast of your endeavors!
Happy growing and welcome to the farm mate!!

Well guess who just got a severe case of grow envy hahaha.. What a lovely bouquet of flower you have there.

Lol yea mate she is a good smoker, just got done curing for over 2 months and tell ya what, she smokes clean and smooth.
I always age about 2 months. Nothing beats that smoke and she did test at 23% thc! We had 680kilos of her! And boy she sold as soon as we had it finished cure. We do about 500kilos a week atm and hope to get to 1000 eventually. Aye mate the growing is fun and it’s work I enjoy! Cheers mate! If ever in Cali, hit me up, I’ll bring u into a show and tell and taste!!

Some different strains we grow. Various houses at the property.
We have whittled from 84 strains to 15 and will further cut that to 6.
But winners are
Og Kush
Sour D
Train wreck/ all it’s subs as well
Green crack
Blueberry/ and blue dreams
Lemon cake / all lemons do well here
And maybe our charlottes web variants
And of course every jack herera strain, sativa dominant does well here but we try to keep a balance of kush as well. Fully organic and high quality.

Bloody oath Jack that's a gorgeous operation.. What medium do you use?Makes me want to kick the tiny tent after seeing that set up hahah.
Damn id love to visit one day mate but i dont have a passport and live across the pond.. One day maybe.
The options you guys n girls have over there for seeds is amazing. Its much more limited on my big floaty continent with the draconian laws here. Hell maybe i should hop a flight just to get some seeds smuggled back here bahahaha.

Let’s hope they will one day decriminalize this there mate! I use super soil brother, we make our own but fox farm ocean is about as near to what we use if u can find it. But any organic soil will do and we use , fish emulsion, cal mag, phos and mollases. That’s it, /and some fulvic acid once every 4weeks as spray. Other then that, ph controlled filtered high cal/mag water and fish every 4th water , and phos once she is in flower with molasses. Don’t need anything more then that if your soil is good.
