I have khabib for the win even with team McNugget standing in the way. Khabibs grappling skills are amazing and McNugget has had his fall coming for some time. Never have I seen a fighter at this level be open hand ‘Compton’ slapped as Diaz did to him. Now I can’t wait to see Khabib crush him

Couple memes I made to honor the man child’s behavior as a professional fighter. It is disgusting to me, but those who like to talk big but never trained love him.

well for starters diaz bitch slaps everyone he fights lol. i think mac is finally hungry for the belt again and this should be a damn good fight. mac has been doing alot of training with various grappling coachs so its not like they dont know kabib is going to try to take him down. if it stays on the feet i think mac will knock dude out. gotta remember, diaz is a blackbelt with awesome ground game and it was very hard for him to submit mac the one time he was able to.i think im gunna buy this fight just to see yanna

The ufc is too much like wwe these days. I miss the days when guys didn’t throw bike racks through the windows of busses and ruin other people’s careers while hyping their own upcoming ppv. What ever happened to the good guys from 10-15 years ago. Those guys were warriors and got paid shit to do it. These brats nowadays are all about the paycheck and branding. Makes me want to puke. I hope McNugget gets his ass handed to him. That other guy is a scary ass SOB.

These ppvs are too expensive. Last ufc fight I bought was McNugget vs diaz because I knew Diaz was too big for him. The press conferences were epic. The fight I bought before that was holly holm vs Ronda rousy. I knew Ronda was going to get her ass beat. Sure enough she did.

Imo McNugget really doesn’t have stamina to compete in the later rounds. After the first round he’s easy fodder. Diaz won both fights imo mostly due to his cardio and stamina.

He did. He let his emotions get the best of him. But the ufc and McGregor has tonrealize he lives in a much different world than we do. In some areas of the world you don’t dare trash talk about the things he did and bring up loved ones in mud slinging.

It’s a microcosm of the state of society right now. The flames are higher than ever and things are being to boil over across the planet. Sad state we are in currently and my fear is it’s only going to get worse.

But the ufc and Dana White love this kind of controversy. For years this type of display was fake and only found in professional wrestling. Now it’s real and live with real injuries and the ufc is raking in cash hand over fist.

I watched the fight on twitch. Someone had a live feed (in Russian) but I still got to see the last round and the mele that followed. Interesting but sad.

i wanted Connor to win but suspected he wouldn't.fighting an undefeated champ like khabib after a two year absence was a bit much.
i think the reason khabib done what he did after the fight(after he kept his cool all this time) was because he had been accused of being a coward by not coming off that bus and he thought by doing wat he did proved otherwise.all it proved to me was at the end of the day he was just as bad as mcgregor.conor shouldn't have brought politics into that press conference either.

Great fight, Conor showed big heart going as far as he did before tap, tap,to bad Habib is a punk as it would have made for great rematch. Habib is an awesome grappler who let emotion get the best of him.

Just as bad? I don’t think that’s the case. He let his temper get the best of him sure but mcgregor flew across the globe with his own henchmen and threw a bike rack through the window of a bus and practically ruined the careers of two innocent fighters. The UFC I’m sure pulled some strings to make sure he got a slap on the wrist. But if any of us did that we’d be in state prison, period.

At the end of the day he attacked a trash talking fighter, not some random citizen. And quite possibly his next opponent. Don’t let Dana fool you into thinking this is appalling. It’s very welcomed and they will laugh all the way to the bank because of it. Think they won’t show the melee footage before their next big fight? If it’s so appalling then they’d try to forget it. Right now all they are trying to do is make it seem like they care to the contrary. But in reality they are licking their chops.

When you think of it we as a species haven't evolved much since the days of the roman coliseum games.
All " bread and circus" to keep folks entertained and focused on the trivial while diverting everyone's attention from the fact the ruling class is bending the masses over. :D We are a tabloid society. We love blood and gore and hearing about everyone's dirty laundry as long as it isn't our own. And when its our own, we declare it "fake news" I live in an alternate reality today where nothing is as it appears. Wow

At the end of the day yes he lost his temper but lots of folks do when you slam their religions and loved ones.

I disagree.
We all know Connor is a promoter. He took shit too far in some things he said but both of those guys are prepped and told to build up the hate for the fight. Connor is like Ali in the promoting department.
But every single tome after a fight he shows respect and shakes hands. It’s a show. What khabib did although very entertaining was childish. You just mawled the man. Wire to wire victory. What does he have to prove.
Mark my words Connor drops him in fight 2. He just gave Connor a reason to actually go away and train instead of flash his money and underestimate his opponent.

Again I don’t agree. Maybe it’s because I think all religions are a joke but that’s what these guys are ASKED to do. Talk shit. Be mean. Be fighters. Push buttons. To PROMOTE the FIGHT. Emphasis on FIGHT. But after the match you take your victory or defeat like a man. You guys think that bus thing wasn’t staged you’re crazy. Maybe he took it further than intended but it was staged. There were cameramen everywhere. Everyone hates Connor but that is the plan. But to jump the cage like that was bullshit. And the dude that snuck up on Connor after he just got his ass handed to him was cowardly. Period.

Mark my word. Connor lands the piece of iron attached to his left arm right on khabib mouth and wins fight due. Write it down. Take a picture.

The plan was to have Connor the loud brash shit talkin gold wearing, annoying son of a gun and khabib was supposed to stay the humble quiet champion with the hunger. So they played their roles throughout the promotion. Connor loud and brash. Khabib quiet and focused and humble.
But after the fight khabib showed his true colors. Showed everyone the pile that he is and now instead of being the most loved fighter in ufc dethroning mcregor he set it up for everyone to live McGregor again. Now the villain role has switched and Connor will train for real to come back and fight him again. And I believe he beats him.

He def handled him last night no problem.
I’ll bet a cut that Connor beats him next fight.

Honestly I don't see that happening. I see it ending the same way this did maybe earlier. There's a fairly large gap in skill here. I won't question Conor's heart but he doesn't have the skill these top fighters do. If they play into his mind game then he win's, but if they stay cool and let their fighting do the talking then Conor just folds. It was shown with Diaz and I wouldn't even call Diaz a top level fighter. Just some guy with heart and great cardio.

Conor is fun to watch, don't get me wrong. But he doesn't have the skillset to compete at the highest level. If he is the bigger man then he can compete, but if he is equaled or outsized he can't compete.

If you don't think Conor had reason to get "ready" for this fight then i'm sorry but I just don't see the same guy you do on TV.
