And square. So I have high intensity lights and co2 levels. Not sure who wrote it but they said under these conditions, N has to double K? True?

But you mentioned yucca here. So mixing order doesn't matter with the npk raw line.

Ah, I did not realize that, but, logically (to me at least), I would add some yucca to the water first, to facilitate mixing. Certainly it can't/hasn't hurt

I am not sure if you are talking about elemental ppm N:K or NPK ratio on N - K2O

The ratio only changes based on what cycle the plant is in (veg or bloom). Otherwise, the dosage is based on the size/ light intensity, etc

When the light is more intense use 2x the amount of N to K. Example would be 200ppm N and 100pppm K
When light is less intense do the opposite: 200 ppm k and 100 ppm N

When it is hot out use less N.

They do make the distinction between WARM TEMPS and LIGHT INTENSITY. I would imagine in a typical grow room you are running low intensity light when plants are babies (i.e cloning) and high intensity all the rest of the time in a plants life. Temps would be average at around 75 degrees, as they say above 90 is "hot", so I don't see a need to ever cut N (until you are flushing it out in bloom).

I found it. Is this true?

My water has 50 PPM. I added 1 gram of amonium nitrate to 1 liter of water and instead of showing 350+50 PPM it shows 700+50 PPM. What the hell? Like i am adding two grams not one. The meter should be fine because I tried with two. Only the scale could be wrong but it looks just fine. Any suggestions?

It sounds like crop-king will custom mix nutes. Has anyone ever ordered custom nutes from crop-king? I'd like to tell them what NPK and Ca/Mg I want and send them a water report from my city so they can mix me a custom nute for considering my tap water.
My mentor has me getting a water report. I paid for two one pre filter and one post filter. $110 each. $220 total for me. Then either he mixes them or sends it to a company. I am soon to be rid of bottles

Anyone know how to make a 0.05% percent citric acid solution like nuke em...

simply dilute 0.5 grams of 100% anhydrous citric acid crystals into one liter final volume of distilled water.

Concentration(stock) × Volume(stock) = Concentration(dilute) × Volume(dilute)

so
100 times Unknown equals 0.05 x 1000

1000 x 0.05= 50
50/100= 0.5

Hey all. I could use some assistance on my nutrient profile from hydro buddy.

I use a relativly inexpensive nutrient line from South Africa called nutriplex and was originally marketed as a Gen Hydro Flora series replacement with 3.5% Ca vs 5% Ca.
The nutrients have now been registered with the government and as such they are required to provide the elemental npk figures that have been lab tested.

Micro 5.0.1, Grow 2.1.6, Bloom 0.5.4
Sounds pretty good for a generic replacement.....

Now the elemental figures since being registered.
Grow = N 25.84g/kg P 4.32g/kg K46.23 Mg 5.82g kg - Sg 1.17
Micro = N 39.2g/kg K 28.5g/kg Ca 36.1g/kg B 0.205g/kg Cu 0.21g/kg Fe 1.65g/kg Mn 0.91g/kg Mo 0.079g/kg Zn - Sg 1.21
Bloom - P 18.7g/kg k 40.6g/kg Mg 29.6g/kg S 46g/kg - Sg 1.10
The Grow seems quite similar but the bloom and micro are way out once adjusting from Oxide to elemental.
Bloody scammers.....

Now I have made some Nutrient Profiles out of hydro buddy
Grow and Early flower are recommended at 1.1.1 per L
I get N 77.66, P 25.62, K 133.09, Ca 43.68, Mg 39.37, S 50.6 +Te

Flower 1.5,1.5,2 ml/l
N 116.5, P 48.72, K 222.18, Ca 65.52, Mg 75.33, S 101.2 +Te

Late Flower 1.2,1.3,2.5
N 97.94, P 70.61, K 243.8, Ca 56.79, Mg 94.51, S 126.5 + Te

I ask that some of you guys who have experience in diy mixing and nutrient proflies have a look and let me know if these numbers are accurate.
Is the Sulfur not too high? was considering running the standard flower and add 0.1g/L of MPK to raise the pk without adding more sulfur?

I also ran the numbers on a two part version 5L of the bloom at a concentration of 200% so half strength.
Says I need A Calcium Nitrate = 415.8g + A Potassium Nitrate = 432.83g
B MPK = 199.74 + B Magnesium Sulfate = 763.96g
I can buy a per-blended chelated micro element mix so I would not need to buy individual micros or add them to a concentrate solution.
Can anyone check this for me?

In what medium you grow?

The K in grow seems too high, also the Mg and S. Ca is low if you use coco.

Also in flower and late flower the Mg and S are too high.

I grow in 50/50 coco perlite mix using tap water with an ec of 0.12
Mostly grow in Autopots

I get using 1.5/1.5/2 per L + 0.1g of GHSC powder-feeding boost per L

N 116.5, P 61.83, K 244.59, Ca 65.52, Mg 80.27, S 101.2

I tried 2ml Micro + 2ml Grow + 2ml Bloom + 0.25g/L ghsc boost and I get.

N 155.33 ppm
P 84.02
K 322.5
Ca 87.36 + Base water not sure but base water ec is 0.15 odd
Mg 91.09
S 101.2
Hydro Buddy says I should have an ec of 1.7 so + base of 0.15 should end up a on the hot side of 1.85ec
I feed a final ec of between 1.5 and 1.65 depending on the temps.

I have a bunch of this brand chem and would like to make the most of it instead of blindly following the recommended mixes so any assistance would be appreciated.
