Anyone know of an available, safe organic compound with similar properties to BHO that I could practice short path distillation with?

A Paul Harvey Rest of The Story......(Sorry no pics) I've been doing bho long tube extractions, finishing in BBV chamber and 1 stage pump. alcohol extractions for medibes using The Source, so distillates of these are my next step....My patients want distillate and ditillate related products (said with a Hank Hill twang). What I did was look at Short Path Distillation setups and mimicked the parts from china via amazon. AS EXPECTED, the condenser was not what you would buy -with no vigeros, a "too long" short path BUT it did perform, oh... and a pump from my RO tank powered the condenser water jack...but for the cost of the whole set of glass at 65 bucks, 250 more for the mantel, stands, buchner funnel, and all the what nots. Its a 250 ml setup, and I figured I could make smaller runs with it. Armed with YouTube videos, I got enough material together to winterize through the buchner, and run through the 250 ml rig. this cheap rig had a single collection flask (since replaced with cow). I got my first clear pull, I just let it go where you would rotate a cow, there were rings of layers looking from the bottom. middle pull fine, amber and clear. The last frac ending was pure shit hitting a fan, smoke (no mirrors), new oil for the pump, oh yeah, be sure to get that cold trap I cheaped out on. The immediate lesson, a RoundBoilingFlask REALLY retains its heat...think of car on sheet of ice going way way too fast with IMMEDIATE need for stoppage. Patience and forsite, grasshopper.

SO>>>>> anything I can run through and practice on? while I wait for my entry level BlisWorx head and cold trap

Some other things I use this equipment for is putting my glass blasting tube in a clamp with pyrex baking dish under instead of gloves and hands. When making gummies, I pre mix the tincture concentrate with the corn syrup, 10 minutes with the stir bar in the RBF at about 105 F is perfect. Same for Vape juice and concentrate for cartridges

Do you “winterize” the bho products? How safe is it for medical use? Are your beginning product pesticide free? Organic, questions because it’s for end use by patients and all of these questions should be the primary concern for any end user

I send my flower to a lab with NOs for debris and pests...haven't sent any bho in, I use Dutch Canna line so no problems in purity... Michigan shut down the local ordinance approved labs until the State licences them and Im waiting for licenced ones to come on line and it's tuff now, I used to use G3C in Flint. thanks for asking. I prefer concentrates that are striped with freezer stored alcohol. Buchner filter in the freezer too. Yes I do winterise everything. MY BHO is dissolved in alcohol while it's still "wet", then I extract the alcohol out in The Source and THEN purged in a vacuum, I use everclear. For edibles, I do not use BHO, I use tincture based concentrates with little to no alcohol left. I do intend to use my new glass ware to replace THe Source for reclaiming alcohol

So this thread is about short path distillation, and my quest for a "practice" material to use my specified equipment with. Do you know of such materia??? Celery maybe?
