My son and I want to build my grandson a good go-kart and a 1/2-3/4 mile track. We would like to have it, that we could have the option to have 4-5 different race tracks just by moving a few pylons. Any sites that could assist me in designs, Where the best go-karts are or anything to get a good set-up?

You must have a lot of land! There are a couple really good tracks within 100 miles of me. unless its the dead of summer I'm karting the other 7 months of the year and it's really the most affordable way for anybody to go racing.

If you've got the land and the money for that much pavement, I can't imagine that planning the track would be that much of an issue. here's a link that may give you some inspiration https://www.worldkarting.com/tracks/

Anyone been to the Wisconsin dells? Greatest town i have ever visited. Its just water parks, go karts, mini golf, and weird weird road side attractions. Anywho, might want to check out some of the tracks they had for ideas, they had some of the most interesting i have ever seen.

Use to go there every summer when kids were younger. Lots to do and can be a money pit.

It definitely is, worth it though to make the family smile. Need to get up that way if i ever go visit home again with my kiddo, he loves go karts and i love kitschy road side attractions.

Go carts are cool but my favorite childhood memories were with dirtbikes. Go cart was a great introduction but there is no feeling like two wheels on the street or dirt :) dirt is just a little more forgiving lol.

I was raised on motorcycles also. Haven’t ridden in a few years tho.
