New Toy- Digital Heat Plate With Auto Mixing

Picked up this new toy to assist with making tintures as well as any controller heating and mixing process. I will review how well it works and post links later if anyone is interested. This is a cheap model, under 60$ but actually looks like it’s not a bad unit. Currently testing it to see if it can actually do what I need.

So it has reached and held the desired temp for infusing alcohol. Heat infusion after decarb is the ultimate, and while
I have never heat infused alcohol I have done lots of research and believe o have a solid path forward. My goal is sublingual injestion (under the tongue) with a solid calculatable dose. The future in Meds. I have some older friends and family that can’t and doesn’t smoke but could really benefit from the medical properties. I have struggled and continue to, and work hard in my free time to develop somthing that will work for each of them. Most people think I’m an asshole, I’m not saying I’m not, but it’s not always how you look, but what you do that makes you who you are. I stand firm
In my beliefs and back them with experience and science. Lately I have received a bit of negative feedback from a number of members who doubt my claims. I really don’t give a damn, I do me and take care of mine. I try and share what I learn and hope some people benifit. Much love and good times

At 73c it will vary between 160 and 166f which isn’t bad for 55$

So curious myself to your method, are you attempting to heat and by that evaporate off some of the alcohol? I’ve done a slow cooker mostly immersed 1000 ml beaker where I’ve evap’d some of my 200 proof tincture.

I have been doing some reading on heat infusion with alcohol. Along with a number of other uses. I need to get some new thermocouples so I can look at its current performance. I plan on opening it up after this read, and most likely doing the same upgrade. I can buy all the components and really make this a pretty awesome device. So I opened it up and was happy to see it looked like it’s Assembed slightly better than the one in the above link. Here’s some shots of what’s inside. The heating element sits under the plate and is almost a full circle element. Everything looks easy to replace or upgrade if needed. So far still happy with the 55$ price tag.

Here's the shot, just at 180' boiling point for the alcohol. Found out that the plastic was a bad choice and changed that aspect.

I want 160-165 deg for three hours with constant mixing for the infusion level I want. I will be using fresh pressed rosin, that will be decarbed and then heat infused. I don’t have to go super high grain as I understand with this method, but keeping it below boiling point is essential. We will see how it all goes

i didnt realize you get get one of these units so reasonably priced.
i'll check it out as it would be the best way to finish off oil as well.

After some hunting I was able to get a parameter list in English, and Chinese. Still no path forward with the time feature.
