Literally, Oozing With Resin!

So, I don't grow the dankest, bestest most spectacular cannabis, but this particular harvest has provided a nice surprise. If I'm not mistaken, this bud is crying sweet tears of golden resin. My camera isn't awesome, so I'll post original pic and you can zoom in for viewing. I'll try to post something a little more clear, but it's pretty well observable. One little droplet. Is this a common occurrence? My plant is producing dabs all by itself! LMAO.

I have seen that before, its prolly sap. Not sure if a bug bit into the leaf or if it might have gotten damaged/punctured somehow. Pretty cool tho. I usually leave them be if I see them. I put one under a microscope to make sure it wasn't a live bug and it wasn't, just sap.

Dextro has it,That is called guttation and it is sap or sugar water to simplify things.Your plant is like a hydraulic pump which is how it flows nutes and water in and out,when it finds a week spot you get a little leak!

I sometimes have this on my Maui. I'm not sure if it's the strain... but sometimes it appears. I actually poked it n tasted it. Its actually quite sweet.... I dont really know what it is either. But it only comes out sometimes when the batch has the full expression the strain can do... when I see it. I'd like to think that I'm doing something right....

In my opinion that's means you did a good job this run.... looks very nice the flower.

Toohighkev. Lol. Yeah I wish it was pure rosin. Like a couple guys said, just a sap that oozes out now and then due to high levels of natural sugars during maturity. I like to think of it like that little turkey thermometer thingy. It's done!

Why would the plants own sugars be guttatating? This isn't textbook guttitation. Funny Cannabis is the only plant that guttatates molasses colored droplets of sugar

I would also like to know what is the cause pests/damage or potency?

I collected a few off my plant and burned them after I saw someone on You Tube do it, just in case they were eggs! But it bubbled up and smelt delicious.

I'll have to smoke them on a bowl next time.

That’s a good point I did always think same. Fungi guttation is almost always different colors depending on species but I hate to compare one to the other for obvious reasons. But so far some people have said using high amount of sugars and cold temps from floor...but this is strait from wiki:
At night, transpiration usually does not occur, because most plants have their stomata closed. When there is a high soil moisture level, water will enter plant roots, because the water potential of the roots is lower than in the soil solution. The water will accumulate in the plant, creating a slight root pressure. The root pressure forces some water to exude through special leaf tip or edge structures, hydathodesor water glands, forming drops. Root pressure provides the impetus for this flow, rather than transpirational pull. Guttation is most noticeable when transpiration is suppressed and the relative humidity is high, such as during the night. The process of guttation formation in fungi is unknown.

Of course I could find more info but take digging which I’m sure you can do.

Not just it's own sugars. I'd bet the colour of that sap ball is pretty close to the colour of his nutrient solution.
