the 1st line I had issues with was his wifi connection.

Some folks claimed I didn't know what I was doing but it was the only line of 6 strains within the same enviros that went south on me. I stand on the fact that both these lines while they are fire need some more work.

I’ve been pretty fortunate so far. Never got addicted to narcotics or anything really harmful besides cigarettes and alcohol. Once I found cannabis that was it. I’ve tried quite a few different narcotics when I was younger usually when I was out of weed and bored out of my mind. Some cool stories but never wanted to do them again. Once I’d score a sack I’d be all my weed again.

I find most issues aren’t due to the grower unless they are complete newbies to the craft. It’s the easiest thing to blame for short comings yet is rarely the case imo. Most folks get a hermie or two and just don’t say anything about it cuz they want to be nice and don’t want to get labeled as “that newbie grower” when in reality it’s just shit genetics being tossed around. Some justify it f they find one good keeper out of the bunch. The bar has really been lowered imo over the years. Sad but that’s how I see it anyhow.

To be clear, it isn't my work. my grow yes, but I had nothing to do with the breeding of that line. That was a tester pack from digital genetics. And like I shared with the breeder when his 1st line was throwing lots of herms, I wasn't upset cause thats what running and testing new lines is all about. there are going to be failures along the way. Hopefully my input to the breeder motivated them to do further work and breed out that tendency.
and in response to that statement....one of the only strains that I kept goin fer years was DJ's FLO back in the 90's....they were fem beans from Gypsy Nirvana....ended up with one pheno that was just str8 up fire man....the description was Nepalese Temple Hash .....I know for a fact that it was what he was trying to get from her....but she was a slight he/she at around 5-6 weeks.....but she was so good I didnt even give a sht ....it was that good to keep around....ended up having to move and she faded away in the wind....not sure if the Flo is still the same cuz havent tried her since then....but she will never be forgotten in my head fer sure~

Have you ever had tangie or ecto cooler? Won’t come close to the orange of those too.
I have a friend who owns a dispensary and they use to pheno hunt for Ethos, all of the phenos they sorted out lacked in flavor.
Manderine cookies was the only one I kept. Which is an award winning cut and got on high times top ten list last year. But still it mostly sits in the jar. View attachment 860562View attachment 860563It’s an easy sell though long dense frosty nuggets, probally the prettiest buds I’ve ever grown besides strains that yield diamond buds. With the price of pot these days diamond bud plants just don’t make sense.
No, but the SF from Crockett has Tangie for the dad.

I would say count me in too, but to be fair, there is too much on my plate now and your fine beans would be better off served on someone else's plate!
Thanx for all the love @Srenots !

blaming growers was the 1st line of defense that chuckers began to use to cover the fact they were just chuckin and not really working a line. It was the beginning defense mantra of the flavor of the month crews!!!!!

I’m hearing a lot about hyper cherry pie. How’d that cross with gg4? Curious. Any others it worked better with?
