New to the site, have grown before but was always indoors. I have 4 big healthy girls (outdoors). They have been veging for 4+ months now and the light cycle will start cutting back now so I’ll get a flower cycle. Everything is going well but today I noticed the pistols were turning brown is this common with outdoor plants? I’ll post pictures

Don’t see any pistils, not sure what the brown matter is, burnt/dead leafs or such. Looks like your plants went through a re-veg but that’s in the past and nothing to be done now. Keep an eye out for bugs and welcome to the farm.

Word,thanks for the feedback I think it did go into a flower stage then back to veg. The light cycle outside in Virginia is at a 15-9 cycle right now. 15 light 9 dark. There just going to follow the season cycle. Should have flower by October. Luckily it stays in the 80 almost year round. Won’t get really cold till Jan feb. the brown is the pistol calyx. They were nice and fat with trycroms all over. But now there dying but not all. Plants are still really healthy .

Further I see a lot of single bladed leaves, on those plants with the brown material, that’s attributed to stress, hope those plants get in the correct groove up to harvest. It see you do have several others to fall back on.
